Super Hyper Dimensional Mega Games has a good idea about how to market an iPhone game: put a bunch of stuff people like in it. Its upcoming title, Pro Zombie Soccer, combines all of the drama of one of the world's top sports with the undead, gnawing fury of your favorite zombie film. It's kinda like the guy who accidentally discovered peanut butter and chocolate go great together. Man, we love that guy.
Head past the break for a trailer from the upcoming game, which goes out of its way to also include heavenly satellite death lazers. Now how's that for effective marketing?
Only four days into the new year, and we've already exceeded our quota for zombies. While I've always been an enthusiast of the living dead in film and gaming, the last year or two have *really* tested my appetite for the subject matter.
SooOooOoo... you have no evidence that Apple will take the game down other than their previously taking down other unrelated games yet you speak as though it's inevitable. How is that not Apple trolling?
How the hell is this valid and true Marty? Yes, Apple has pulled Apps from the store, but not for "no reason."
There is no valid reason for Apple to pull this game after release that Brad could enlighten us on (which was the first question I asked) so there is no valid reason to even bring this up unless you were a massive Apple troll (and they don't get more massive on Joystiq than Marty).
lol, I've never called Microsoft anticompetitive. Where are you getting this from?
You trolls are silly, you think everyone thinks on your level. I'm far from an Apple loyalist, I still haven't upgraded to Snow Leopard thank you very much, and I'm rocking a Palm Pre. I've got no qualms with Microsoft mate, they're just another company like Apple whom I could give a damn about... Because lets face it, they are companies who don't give a damn about us.
And hell... Why is this even coming from you Brad?!?!? You're usually a well mannered guy who can be considered anything but a troll on Joystiq. What gives?
Ok if Zombies are tried and so aren't Robots, let combine them.......well then, it be..a ..android.......Screw it zombie Androids, they'll want your brain and have lasers!
Your right. The android market is great but there aren't as many people on it as the iphone. Which sucks because in my opinion, the the android beats the iPhones OS any time of the day. But even if the android had the popularity and support as the iPhone I still don't see myself paying money for half assed touch screen games.
Hell, I'm still surprised Joystiq dedicates so much time to iPhone games.
