Microsoft, for the third Xbox...design a decent d-pad, will you?

I've heard that both Nintendo and Sony have 'copyrighted' or whatever-ed their d-pads. Couldn't MS license one of them? I'm not holding my breath, but is it a possibility?

Bring on the console version, this game looks amazing.

I don't get the cut at the D-Pad though. I plaid Braid, Prince of Persia Classic, and Bionic Commando Rearmed (just to name a few) with the Analogue Stick, don't see why this couldn't be any different. Besides, you are only fooling yourself if you thing the PlayStation D-Pad is anything other than the lesser of two evils. It may be more responsive but it's also the biggest threat to the well being of yours and your children's thumbs.

That came off as a little mean spirited, let me rephrase:

The PlayStation D-Pad is PERFECT for navigating menus. The end.

The problem with the 360 Dpad is simply its location. It causes your thumb to sit on it sideways which in turn disorents you movements. When pressing sideways your very close to actually pressing diagonally.

In my limited experience, it's more than just location, but that is one part of it. If the d-pad was the same as the Sony or Nintendo d-pads, location wouldn't really factor into it as much as you think.

I know a lot of people hate the symmetrical DualShock pads, but I love them, floaty convex sticks and all. If/when I get a 360, I will buy something that will let me use a DualShock instead of Microsoft's pad, just as I did with the original Xbox. Just my preference.

I use the joystick for all games these days anyway, even stuff like Castlevania (when a joystick is available, of course).

I wish that more of these indie games would release on the PSP. I very much like the idea of playing something like this on my PSP.

The kid looks TOTALLY like the kid from 'Where The Wild Things Are'.

Art style is pretty cool and the game seems fun. Seems like a lot of people are picking up on Shadow Complex's success (...though I can't really name anyone else...).

this game looks very neat. The art style looks great. Although this generation didn't meet all my "next-gen" expectations I'm very grateful for all the indie or smaller games we've been able to enjoy through DLC...many of them have are on my top ten of this gen's games.

It is weird how MS basically took the design of the Xbox controller from Sega, but didn't copy the d-pad (which was quite good).

"Maybe even the PSP."

I was looking for a reason why this is a PSP related news... I guess that is a reason enough.

Hey guys, tony from 2BeeGames here. We're still deciding on what platforms to put this on so your feedback is welcome! We can publish onto retail box as well but I think the downloadables services suit it well. Let us know what else you want to see from this!
