Looks like they threw together a 360 controller and 360 keypad, stuck it in a microwave, and ran it until they fused.

I've an idea, let's take the best thing about PC gaming - the precision and ease of mouse control combined with the endless key combinations of a full size keyboard - and shrink it all down to make it exactly like a limited and tiny console controller.

If people are desperate for a controller for a PC that works exactly like a 360 controller, save your money and buy a console. That way you won't have to deal with dodgy driver updates for products of suspect quality and crappy ports from the consoles in the first place.

I'm not seeing the reason why to use this controller over a Xbox360. Especially since any OS later than Windows XP recognizes the wired controller and it only costs $10 to have all your wireless accesories work.

This is a epic fail...

It's perfect!

Say my kid is using OnLive to play our console games on the PC. Well, the PC is being taken up! How am I supposed to play my PC games?!?

Simple, I use the Gamecore to play my PC games on the TV, while my kid is playing TV games on my PC!

It's the most elegant technical solution possible.

Hard to want this when most every game they showed that you can play on your PC is actually a port from a console game. Why the hell would I want to do all this for Tekken when I have a PS3 already there.

They should have shown it used with MMOs like Warcraft if they really wanted to make a stand. Also, as others mentioned, this offers nothing new than what can already be done. I can do all this already on my iMac running boot camp.

problem is games like warcraft are made to use a keyboard and mouse, you could try it with a controller but those keybindings will be hard to hit on a small keyboard, games that are on consoles atleast can be set up near the same as the controlers

If you have a PC and a PS3 but want to play Mass Effect or Gears of War, you might want a controller. If those games are anything like the PC port of Lost Planet, I'd rather have a controller, despite being a PC gamer since Doom. Only thing is, the 360 controller would work fine for these games.

Exactly. A lot of graphics cards now come with HDMI outputs too. And you can plug a 360 controller in which will work on pretty much any game - had a lot of fun with DMC4 on this.

Freakin' exactly. I'm actually sitting in front of my 51" high def right now, with a keyboard and mouse propped up on my favorite footstool. Talk about an immersive experience--sometimes, the size of my character's hand is the same as my own and the TV screen (from where I'm sitting) expands almost to the edge of my peripherals. No wonder I get motion sickness when I play STALKER!

at any rate I will stick to PC gaming on my PC....my 24" & 32" screens are PLENTY big for me.....

Even as a PC gamer, I could not but cringe from that video.

Furthermore, why would we want to connect to a TV that supports up to maybe 1024 x 768 resolution? The average monitor and resolution is usually 1280 x 1024, and a lot of PC gamers use even higher resolutions than that.

If you have a 50" 1080p or something, PC games would look incredible on it, especially with anti-aliasing. But for most of my games I feel more than happy with a 22" 1680x1050 monitor up close with a mouse and keyboard. Awesome monitors also tend to be a fair bit cheaper than even an average (HDTV.

I seriously just wasted five minutes watching this pile of crap?

I mean, I never would have thought about BUYING MY OWN VGA cable and HOOKING MY PC TO THE TV! AMAZING!

Let's see, they alienated PC gamers, console gamers, and people with an IQ over 60.

I liked how at the center of those 'obsolete games' was a PC version of Galaga.

The name 'I goo goo" sounds pretty accurate.
Does showing Forza for a PC game count?

I have never bought a CRT stand alone....the one that I have in the closet is the ONLY one and it came with my first PC in 97".....lol my laptop has a 15.5" screen and I use a 24" Monitor and a 32"LCD TV for computer monitors on my gaming PC.....

that guys stats are basically telling me that people are actually running around with dinosaur ass computers that aren't even capable of playing NEW games on so why would they need anything bigger than a 17" monitor?

If you go on the IGUGU website, they show the games compatible with the device.

One of those games is Call of Duty 6.

The Call of Duty 6 logo has an alien in the background.
