Apparently Hollywood wouldn't mind tossing Darksiders up on the silver screen, as Vigil's Joe Madureira confirmed to VG247 that THQ's already been contacted for projects outside of the video game realm. "We've gotten some interest from Hollywood, we've talked about doing a comic series," said Madureira. Obviously, a comic wouldn't be much of a stretch for the creative director, given his past experience with the medium.
"It's really a THQ thing, but I know they are definitely talking to people and I would be surprised if some of that stuff didn't happen," he added. While we can't really say whether the prospect of either is a good thing at this point -- we're still playing Darksiders for review -- we'll be sure to let you all know either way.

Theres no need for that anymore, gamers are stupid apparently, we'll accept anything that was a game, even if it wasn't a game but was meant to be.
Duke Nukem Movie, where are you? Little Big Planet movie, you too, come out and where on earth is Mass Effect Movie.

I completely agree... The design cries out "trying-so-hard-to-be-a-bass-ass-main-dude", to me, at least! Too much 'style' crammed into the main character... Should have gone for less, like subtlety, instead, but, hey, that's not Joe's style is it?

Is Hollywood going to give every new video game a movie? C'mon be original, Hollywood.

Based on the movies coming out lately, what movies aren't Hollywood interested in doing? Anything that is already written or ready to be adapted will probably get adapted.

I love it. It's their signature image. Did anyone ever watch the one with Space Mutiny or Skydivers? Hilarious.

noooooo! it's Mike and the bots the best MST3K's ended with Mitchell when Joel escaped (an escape pod in a box marked hamdingers? Brilliant! ... though Invasion of the Neptune men is still my favorite just for the bots asking Mike if his hometown had a Hitler building

Where the hell is Tmac? He would freak out at this not being a GOW movie. Then again, he's most likely to reply to me and say "I really don't care".
Anyways, a Darksiders movie would be kick ass if they do it right (Actually, any movie is kick ass if they do it right :P ).

It's certainly an interesting concept.
As far as the game is concerned though?
Picked it up today. I've been following this game since GI first did a cover story on it....2 years ago? And well, I think it's been worth the wait. I'm loving the game so far. The action is nicely paced, the story is enthralling and the art style is VERY easy on the eyes.
Also, Mark Hamill. What more could you ask for?
