Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney is ready to head into the WiiWare courtroom this Monday, Capcom reveals. You'll be able to relive the classic lawyer-em-up for 1,000 Wii Points ($10), where your Hamilton will net you the first four episodes from the original GBA game -- Capcom says the final fifth episode will be available later as DLC for 100 Wii Points ($1).
And if you're scratching your noggin, wondering what the big deal is, feel free to check out some recent videos from the game.

Wow, Kotaku just posted this earlier.
Why does Kotaku, and Joystiq exist? They are both the exact same.

Because you're a new guy, I'm assuming you're not familiar with the feud between Joystiq and Kotaku.
If you want to live, stop bringing it up.

'Cos Kotaku is a piece of boring, badly presented crap.

There's a feud? News to me.
I like them both, but Kotaku does usually get their news out faster and I like their little opinion pieces they do every now and then. I wish joystiq would do something like that.

Joystiq has a certain style to their writing. The comment system is far better, the commenters are better, the layout is cleaner.

I wouldn't say the commenters are better, this board is as full as idiots as many others. Mr. Esc and anyone with Troll in their name come to mind right off the bat.

Fanboyism can also be a problem here.

I was a long-time commenter on Kotaku and was banned when drawing a potential correlation between why they had to ban so many people in order to "maintain the integrity of the site" after posting the 6th or 7th sensationally titled RE5 racism title that week. A few "wow, that wasn't fair" posts from everyone else and I was vapor.
That queued me off to how Kotaku operates for hits. Shame it took nearly 3 years to figure it out.

I'll probably get this, I guess. I've gotta try to stop pissing away money into the VC/Wiiware though, I'm going broke :(

Ooh, now that this is done, do you think Capcom could get back to work on Ace Attorney 5?

Considering how *SPOILERS* Phoenix Wright retired/attorney's badge was taken away..........ace attorney 5 will most likely be Apollo Justice

Yeah I was lucky enough to snag a copy of Apollo Justice last week. I might download this considering how I missed the first game

This game will be boring on the Wii. I mean most of the time you spend on the game is reading, the "objection" action only happens in the court room. I mean what would you do when you're not doing the trial? Clicking the A button? Just a cheap attempt to milk the franchise for the wrong platform. Oh wait, it's Capcom after all, not surprising.

Yes obviously you'll be clicking the A button... um... just like you do on the DS? Where it was a straightforward port of a GBA game, except the last case? And where the only really DS-specific action was yelling into the microphone, and while fun, you could just as easily use a button press for it?
...and where the game was utterly awesome?
I've got no problem with this port - certainly won't be buying it, feels better on the DS to me and anyhow I already played it. But for anyone who hasn't played the game and wants to do it for cheap or (not likely, I know) doesn't own a DS, this sounds like a great option.

what? random suggestion is random. Bioware? Really?
Capcom do great voice acting, just look at Resident Evil.
;)
Seriously I'm glad the game doesn't have voice acting, because it would be like the biggest game voice acting challenge ever (to get all the silly characterisations in without being too silly or annoying or whatever), and I can't imagine it would be a success.
There's a lot of voice, too; those games last north of 15 hours, right? Most of which is purely spent reading text? Can't imagine that would be cheap.
To be honest I think I'd prefer if new games in the series continue to appear on DS - it just seems sort of natural to me now, same way it would suck if they switched to 3D graphics instead of hand-drawn. That said, if Capcom did announce a real Wii exclusive (preferably one developed actually by Capcom, thanks) in the series, no doubt I'd be up for it...
