Except now they are charging 40MSPoints for a demo... AWESOMEO!

Seriously, this is stupid. I hate avatars. And Major Nelson, you said everyone complaining about avatars now has one and buys stuff regularly for them. Well I have not made an avatar yet nor have I "tricked" one out with all of your digital crap, so don't go on a podcast and call me a complainer who caves. I resent this whole "digital presence" thing 10x more now with this arcade. Sony tried something, and it is just kind of there, not really taking off nor crashing... why are you now copying?

I hope they bring the arcade games I have been wanting to come to XBLA for a long time. I'm talking about X-Men, the Simpson's, Aliens Vs. Predator, Mortal Kombat 1 + 2, ect. If they do then I am sold.

I read an Engadget article that said they were charging for the games. I guess I get to keep my money!

Virtulal arcades...meh. I'd give anything to have good old arcades back...anything.

And by "old" I mean $.25 a play, and only $.50 if it's Afterburner.

Am I really the first person to say:

"Wait, I can buy a dual license but still not play the game on my Zune HD?" That seems like it should be a given.

It looks like Playstation Home's arcade. Why are Sony and Microsoft trying to push this crap onto people?

It's fundamentally flawed. About 10 years ago people decided it would be cool to browse the web through a 3D environment. VRML was born. It failed miserably. Nobody wanted to take a minute in a virtual world to do what could be done in two seconds in a normal GUI. Likewise, who in their right mind wants to dick around in a virtual world to find a vacant arcade machine when they can load up a game quicker in a conventional GUI?
