@Bradwart
Thanks Brad. I'll probably be considered a Sony fanboy as well, but it's just that I prefer Sony products, like the PS3, over the 360, although I do have both. But all I play on 360 is Gears and L4D. The system doesn't have very many triple-A exclusives besides maybe Forza or Gears. L4D is far from triple-A. And how is The Dark Wayne a man child? :D

His words, not mine.

Granger, I didn't know you loved calendars. I just knew you loved Apple.

Oh God in heaven, don't even get me started on Apple! I mean I have an iPhone and I love it and use it everyday, but a Mac is a complete waste of money, especially a Macbook. There are better laptops UNDER $500. Yeah sorry just gets me worked up when people automatically proclaim Apple the best because it's "cool" or as others say "groundbreaking"

Love is a pretty strong word, it's also not polite to say you blatantly know something about somebody.

What a disheartening conversation filled with awkward revelations. That Venture Bros. joke was gold I tells ya! I just spent five whole minutes trying to work "Like so much Fonzie" into it going over your head but I've failed miserably as you can see here...

And are you happy? You just got this prick started on Apple... =P

So I'm a prick because I don't like Apple. Well thanks

You're a prick because this is Joystiq and the last thing we need is Windows PC vs. Mac BS here, leave that to Engadget. I use Macs because I like them, not because Apple is law... I haven't "loved" Apple since my Apple //e kicked the bucket.

We get enough prick opinions on (360 v PS3 v Wii) v PC and NDS v PSP

I wasn't trying to start a fight. And now I understand. No need to call me a prick still. By insulting it me it's more YOU that's trying to start a fight. But yeah whatever.

Can I be the Wii fanboy? Here's my pitch: Hopefully Sledgehammer Games can bring me more games like Dead Space Extraction. With Sega indicating their done with MA on Wii I'm hoping someone else steps up. Activision has published the only two FPS I'm addicted to on Wii so I have high hopes.
I'm not sure the best way to earn the "fanboy" label. Should I insult Sony and MS now or praise Nintendo?

Reading this and Stone's comments... it makes me feel that they are a bunch of back stabbing SOBs... who used EA's resources to get their way. I dont know it just seems that way to me... who knows what actually went down

There was no back stabbing or taking advantage of resources. People and companies have different goals and direction. It's great when the two align with the right people and a great game is produced. EA and Activision, in my opinion, are two companies that have delivered both good and not so good games in the past, which opens the doors for criticism.
If you read the original posting of Deadspace 1, a lot of people questioned the credibility of EA; Deadspace was one of the first steps in the positive direction. Winning people over on an original title has always been a battle both internally and externally. The only resources heavily used were our own dedication, passion, and vision. No company alone can just allocate resources to guarantee a hit.
Although the DS2 team is made of a different group, it is still full of talented people armed with a good franchise to build on. I'm glad that there are a lot of DS fans, a game we help build from the ground up, but just keep your eyes open to what we here at Sledgehammer Games are going to do next.

From the outside anyway.. it seemed that EA really recognized your efforts with Dead space and invested more money into your studio..even re-branding it. Dead space was a great game with some flaws but nonetheless great. again.. from the outside it looked like EA fully supported you guys. If you felt that moving to activision really was to "align your goals" and "direction" you better be making a really kick ass game.. because don't blame me or some of the rest of us being harder on your next game.

In the end it's prob the one with the biggest pay check... if you deny or not its your choice... not like a lot of people care anyway
