That d-pad looks terrible. Why can't anyone make a basic cross-pad any more?

interesting controller, not 100% sure about the Dpad though, I'd have to use it... their mice and keyboards are stellar so I'd be willing to give their x360 controller a shot.

That is one sexy looky headset. But fuck it, it is too darn expensive. I will still to my Samsung HDTV speakers/Creative Fatality headphones.

I can handle a wired controller, mine is usually plugged in with the charge cable as is. The controller actually looks pretty nice. Like everyone else, I'm hoping for a nice D pad. It doesn't look inviting on diagonals, though.

MS will not like this, in the least.

Razer's stuff would blow MS's own perepherials out of the water. I'm still using my 8 year old Razer gaming mouse, on my PC.

They really do make quality gaming perepherials.

Pretty nice. I like where they placed the Start/Select buttons to avoid the inadvertent slip during fervent button mashing. The D-Pad looks much improved as well!

wait why do you need 5:1 audio for choppy compressed audio of people shouting profanity into their mic? seems kinda pointless as I've never heard anything other than chat go through the headset.

I'll pick one up as controller four, and then decide if it should be my primary. Maybe I'll just use it for my Mass Effect 1 profile, so that Shepard will quit slowly walking forward when my controller is sitting on the table NEXT to me! I hate the technical aspects of the 360 controller, despite loving the rest.

Razer makes sets out to make tournament grade equipment. You cannot use a wireless controller at a tourney. And if you think it won't sell because it's wired, go check the registration count at the MLG/GB forums. I guarantee a lot of people over there will jump on this thing.

Razer makes quality stuff. The barracuda headphones + sound drive were amazing not to mention I could wear them for hours and forget I even had them on. I picked up the x41's (and after moving my router to a different room away from the base) they are amazing so I won't be upgrading for a while.
