Hopefully, the third time is the charm for SOCOM Fireteam Bravo. After two delays, the Slant Six-developed co-op shooter is finally making its way to PSP on February 16 on both UMD and PlayStation Network.
As per usual, online multiplayer is central to the upcoming SOCOM sequel. Fireteam Bravo 3 will not only support sixteen player Infrastructure play, it also features four-player co-op -- a first for the franchise. Considering Slant Six's track record, it'll either play like the brilliant SOCOM Tactical Strike ... or like SOCOM Confrontation.

If this thing blows, Slant Six better be taken off of Socom.

wasn't MAG suppose to replace this game?

On consoles, yes. But the PSP might have issues running a full version of MAG.

MAG is a piece of crap (based on the beta, which should be pretty close to the final product since the release date is coming up).
I thought it might just be me, but then I read IGN's preview where a bunch of their editors played it and all said that it is a piece of crap also.

After wasting my money on Socom:Confrontation at launch, I will NEVER pay for anything developed by Slant Six until at least 6-8 months after release date so they can fix it and deliver a completed product. Never again!

I do understand all the hate towards Confrontation considering the rocky launch but it is a great game game now especially with the DLC that came recently.
I will have to ry the PSP Socom's that sem to have really good reviews its really hard for me to get into Shooters with only one analog but I had a blast with Resistance Retribution so if it's similar to that I should be able to assimilate to the new Socom on PSP.

I stopped playing the Socom series after the second one, so should I even consider buying this?
