I actually really disliked it. The movie really built up to what Hooch said, but it was so underwhelming. :( Maybe its because I was expecting a complete Mindf*ck film like mulholland dr or I dunno Memento - heck even 2001.

I still enjoyed it, but it was also disappointing

I think it's a bit marmitey as some people hope for a big dramatic ending that never comes, I preferred the understated, almost Documentary-like tone.

I'm glad I saw the movie without being spoiled. I was pleasantly surprised with the plot twist that occurred.

What a coincidence, I saw Moon and Paranormal Activity last week. I liked how Moon to a different approach then the cliched HAL personality and it had a great twist, although I figured it out early on. Definitely worth watching.

Paranormal Activity was freakin crazy!!! I thoroughly enjoyed it and loved the ending....the girl getting dragged from bed and the demon breathing on her....*shivers*. I still get creeped out just thinking about it. I barely slept the night I saw it.

Why are you recommending Moon when it isn't even out until next week? I'd KILL to be watching that right now, amazing film.

I've been watching the stack of Blu-ray movies I got over the holidays. The Signal and the In Bruges import will be this weekends viewing delights. Also got roped into watching Secret Diary of a Call Girl on DVD... And I'm not complaining, it's not too bad.

Secret Diary Of a Call Girl was surprising for me. Since it has a fairly well known Porn Star as the main character (Sasha Grey) i expected it to be...shit. But actually it was a pretty deep movie.

@ Hooch - In Bruges is beyond awesome, I still can't believe it lost Best Screenplay to a biopic.

Paranormal Activity is a good movie. I know a lot of people hate it, but as long as you don't go in expecting it to be "THE SCARIEST MOVIE EVA!!!", it is a treat to watch. It's a very effective movie for what little the budget it had.

I'll probably be picking up Moon this weekend. I've heard nothing but good about it, and as a Sci-Fi/Horror buff, I'll likely enjoy it.

Saw Daybreakers today. Interesting, somewhat ridiculous, but enjoyable B-movie.

Also, I absolutely love Moon! Sam Rockwell is amazing!

He would get an Oscar, if the Oscar's were not a joke with winners usually decided by who had the most 'marketing', I.E campaign. Basically politics. :(

I reckon Sam Rockwell should get an Oscar nomination at least. I must admit there seem to be less 'obvious oscar' films for this ceremony than last years.... I read the entertainment weekly oscar predictions and they were pretty much a joke.

Fingers crossed Hugh Jackman will host again though, he was top notch!

BTW...underwhelmed by Paranormal Activity. (Maybe watching it with a wife who laughed throughout, did something...)

I just bought almost every Tarantino movie on blu-ray, so I'll be having a Reservoir Dogs, Kill Bill 1 & 2, Inglorious Basterds, Death Proof (haven't seen it yet) marathon. Also picked up Mongol at Best Buy for $10 because I've heard good things about it, so we'll give that a watch as well.

i hated Something, Something, Darkside. Im also a Family Guy fan and a massive Star Wars nerd (i go beyond a fan). It just...seemed stupid. They played the jokes out too long.

"Oh yeah, the AT-AT fell and is doing a running joke from the series, ha ha....its been 20 seconds...hes still doing the same thing....now 30 seconds....*sigh*"
