I really hope Moon wins an Oscar. It deserves at least one, maybe more. It is such a shame that this film had such a limited release, but one can only do so much (in terms of distribution) with a limited budget. As far as the film goes, it should be an example of how someone can make a great film without breaking the bank (TAKE THAT MICHAEL BAY).

Also the score for the film was very errie, but did an excellent job of going along with the film. I don't think I've heard a score that good since Gladiator.

Duncan Jones might not have a ton of experience in filmmaking, but others should take a lesson from him on how to make a good Sci-Fi film

moon was a surprise - it wasn't just that all the good bits were in the preview, it was all good. In a lot of ways, it reminded me of Silent Running, 2001 and even the rarely seen "The Quiet Earth" - a tight screenplay and lots of nods to other films: anyone get the "Outland" reference with the rapidly counting-down arrival time?? Glad they weren't early!

yep this film was inspired by films like outland. I actually went to a film double bill at a cinema with Duncan Jones kicking the night off. First up was Outland and then Moon with a few words from the director himself before and after each film :D

I was stricken to the heart by the “MOON”! Since the first moment I began to watch the “Moon” I was totally hypnotized by Sam Rockwell playing an astronaut! I’ve got the feeling that it’s like listening to your favorite music: you want more and more! You know note by note but you’re longing for listen to it again! So I’m absolutely sure that every time I’d be watching the “Moon” I’ll be watching it till the end! I feel myself haunted by Duncan’s ”Moon” and Sam Rockwell’s playing Sam Bell…or maybe both Sam Bells!
