I always find it funny how these studios full of 3D artists, concept artists, art directors and creative directors always have sub-par logos. This is not as bad as Sony's Santa monica studio's new logo but still...

Just hire a proper freelance graphic designer for a week or two and redo it before it becomes your identity.

@Space

While I agree with you, in a world where logos and catch phrases are shoved in our faces daily, sometimes logos like these do the job. It is sub-par but it is also a logo that sticks in your mind. We tend to remember the bad more than the good. But yeah I do not find the logo all that appealing.

I'm not even talking about how appealing it is. It might be beautiful to them but they should be thinking ahead. If this ever needs to be printed on a t-shirt in one color. or at half an inch on the back of some package, or even just a dark background on website they're gonna have problems. You should never make a logo with shadow in it, or tiny lines that will disappear at a smaller size, or text that will not be legible at a small size at screen resolution. When they shrink this down to put on the corner of a box you will not be able to read games clearly.

Sega, Nintendo and Capcom have some of the best logos IMO. I hate the in your face logos I like them to be subtle and quick so I can get to my game faster...

When Clover studios folded, so went the greatest logo ever. And then Seeds was formed and out popped another awesome logo... And then they went all generic with the "Platinum Games" change.

It would have been better if it were like the Russian propaganda posters featuring a guy with a sledgehammer.

I like this idea. Though I am a fan of propaganda art.

I was thinking along the lines of an old american art deco poster.

Anything would have looked better than something that looks like it's made for a truck manufacturer.

Or Mike Row. Which that wouldn't be a bad thing because he's a badass.

We can only hope that Mike Rowe gets involved with video games.

Maybe he'll replace the overused Nolan North and breathe a little more life into some video games instead of North's sarcastic, overexcited voice.

So it's bound to be the same lines he gave in Uncharted 2 for when he flails in the air!
