Savage Cycles unveils custom Resident Evil motorcycle

The badass chopper you see above was custom-built by the team at Savage Cycles for Capcom, and unveiled during the publisher's Dark Void launch party at CES this weekend. It's lovingly crafted, and comes equipped with a shotgun, grenade launcher, grenades, first aid spray and herbs -- all the essentials a zombie genocider needs. Now, that being said -- is a motorcycle really the best form of transportation in the middle of a zombie onslaught? We mean, it's not exactly secure, you know? It also kinda lacks that ramming power we expect from our apocalyptic means of travel. Give us a Volkswagen Type 2 over that two-wheeled crotch-rocket any day of the week -- this is about survival, folks!

Really now...? A motorcycle may not have ramming power, but they are maneuverable, light on gas-use, and quick. For only one or two people, its much more efficient than some volkswagen.

The Zombie Survival Guide recommends a bicycle over a motorcycle, as it is all-terrain, maneuverable, quiet, and pedal-powered. After all, when you're attempting to escape the shambling undead, a top speed of 200 mph isn't half as important as not running out of gas. If you're going to go logical, don't go half-way!

but if you run out of energy, isn't it the exact same thing but slower?

Freaparn, how can I ride a bicycle though after I've replaced my left leg with a gatling gun?

Tell me, which is more badass, peddling your way into the zombie horde with just one leg while the gatling-gun-leg drags behind it, or driving in on that beast of a motorcycle SC made, spin it around, whip that gatling leg up and just rain hellfire into them?

I'll go halfway with the logic, if it means full-scale badassery awaits!

People always seem to forget the most dangerous aspect of a zombie apocalypse - the non-zombified people. They are the ones who will hunt, kill, and bleed you dry. Once everyone else is a zombie though life will be quite easy, the undead are easy to escape so long as they are the only ones you are fleeing.

Just pull a Bill Murray and dress like a zombie....

Who gives a fuck? If I want to know what cars are more reliable, I wouldn't be on a videogame blog. And besides, cars made in different years will have different reliabilities. It's also about the way you drive them, what driving-conditions and preference, so fuck off.

Wow, that is so much better then what that television show would have made. That television show that I'm not entirely sure the name of anymore... with the old guy who reminds me of my dad (and my dad took big insult at me saying such!)

i really don't think anyone here actually knows what a VW Type 2 is. its the Microbus. while they were tanks they had like 70HP engines so, even tho im a big VW guy, that would not be my first choice.
