A Netherlands-based Sega fansite recently posted a titillating report received from an anonymous source, who claimed Sonic Adventure would soon be running at breakneck speeds onto Xbox Live Arcade. Accompanying this report is the image seen above, which, in addition to listing the game itself, also mentions an "extend package," which ... well, which we can't say out loud without giggling like schoolchildren.
As psyched as we'd be to see the azure rodent make a not-terrible appearance on the 360, we're going to treat this with as much apprehension as we can muster until we hear something official from Sega.

Fuck sega. I bought Sonic 3 & Sonic & Knuckles to get the attached game option.
When playing it, you can't play co-op (no big deal), but you can't even save.
So, let me say this. After playing the pure shit that is Sonic Heroes, Sonic The Hedgehog 2008 (Other known as "Anal Rape 2008 Sim"), & Sonic Unleashed.
FUCK YOU SEGA.

While I don't particularly need Sonic Adventure, as I've still got it for the Dreamcast, the possibility that the rest of the Dreamcast library might follow suit makes me giddy!

Soooo you're saying that when something is free I have to pay 800 points? Or is it when something costs 800 points that means it's free?
I must be out of touch... my hair style is still cool though, right?

Totally brah! Your do is radical! The bomb even! How bout you and the boys come out and we can rip some totally killer tubes down in Calli?!
on point, if they actually had this game for free, it means we all died and went to heaven. I'd pay 1600 points top for this title, 1200 if that "extended" package is the secret SS levels from the game you could unlock.
Now... if the 1200 points is just Bigg's levels, and the extended package is released a year later...? We're in the 9nth level of Gamer Hell then.

Extended Package is probably the Directors Cut content from the Gamecube rerelease.

Hiding in the basement/recording studio. Remember, when the red light is on, that means no one can come down. That should keep him out.

It's Microsoft, you're not getting it for free. They only give terrible games away for free, like Yaris and Undertow.

As much as I know people love Sonic Adventure, I still feel like this is the point where Sonic started to tank. The camera just hated that Hedgehog.
Of course, when you compare it to the later offerings... maybe that's what makes Sonic Adventure look good....

Although I think Sonic 3D Blast was the start of its demise, Adventure certainly didn't help much with all those LAME sidekicks. Very boring level design for them.
Still, Sonic Adventure always has a place in my heart since it was absolutely fantastic, graphically and sound (not so much with voice-overs and some of the muisc), when it launched. It made my Dreamcast present seem all the more shinier. Of course, when I think of the game after the first "Free willy" level, it's pretty much downhill from there on out.

I'm sure the same company charing $5 to play flash games on your 360 & PC or .50 cents for your friends to play the game you own over their service you both subscribe to is going to give it to you for free ... keep dreaming

I seem to recall the cat section of that game killing my enthusiasm to play when I reached it. I can't remember if I ever completed the whole game, I think I did.
