Have you been curious to see how Super Street Fighter IV's newly indoctrinated jailbird Cody does his titular street fighting? What about the lightning-quick Adon? Or the generically-named Guy? All three of these brawler's techniques are dissected in the three GameTrailers videos we've posted after the jump. If you're an expert SFIV player, it'll show you the new strategies you'll need to develop to succeed in the game's Super iteration. If you're like us, it'll show you the moves you'll occasionally and accidentally execute as your hands flail across the controller's surface.

I'm looking forward to this. I just got my PS3 a few weeks ago & will hold off on buying SF4 until this is released.

From what I hear owning the original will get you a little something extra in SUPER...they haven't said what that might be yet but I hope it's something worthwhile. I picked up the original for about 22$ to play against a friend...shit's amazing.

I can't wait for this, myself. I bought SFIV, day one, and I'm genuinely hyped for this game. I just wish we had a solid release date, instead of Capcom saying Q1 2010, then going on to say that its been delayed... to when, Capcom? To when?

@SpaceFox Nope, i'm in the same boat. Personally I like SF3rd more than SF4(sorry, i'm not into the whole roman numeral thing). The more SF3rd I see being spliced into the SF4 series(which i'm suspecting they might actually make a whole series with the slow rate of returning characters), the more inclined i'll be to pick it up and play longer. on a side note: am i the only one on earth who thinks (S)SF4 should have been called Street Fighter Beta(2)? sounds strange, but that's what it is...

Perhaps. SF4 isn't exactly the greatest fighting game some people love to spout it as though. Zangief has too many easily executed top-priority moves (forcing you out of ex, super, even ultra combos). Viper's Ultra can be glitchy, and will hit an opponent, but not "Hit" them. Ryu, Ken, and by association Akuma, are all slightly overpowered in some regard.
And Seth is one of the worst bosses I've fought (worse than liquid Kasami from DoA 4 even).
I own the game, but you kinda have to twist my arm to make me play it. I do applaud them for the interesting artistic style applied to the game, and Viper is one of my most favorite characters in the game.

4 was okay, I was disappointed that there's so few new characters in it and so many old ones. Ken, Ryu, and Chun-Li would have been enough. I will admit that the facial expressions in the game are awesome, though.
I'm also one of the few that liked 3 better. Maybe we can start a support group.

Sign me up as someone who doesn't like SF4 that much. I'm also bothered that they didn't just continue on from SF3.
Heck they can have SFA characters but they can't have SF3 characters?

i'm with you on that.... i like the presentation though! looked great. It doesn't even seem like they're adding that much to this game to charge another 60 bones. that's alright though no harm done to me so i could'nt care less. it's basically street fighter so they can which is fucked up to do in all honesty.

Although Cody would beat both our (probably not proverbial) faces in for ever mentioning it to his fictional face ... yes.
He sure doesn't regret his career choice, though. I mean, what's the other choice? Beating up other inmates in prison? There's only so much fun you can have doing that.

I think the real question here is "Does Guy want to be the guy?"

I better get to work on fixing my homemade joystick :-/ I'm kinda tempted to just plop some money down for the TE stick but I worked very hard on this thing and I know it's just a bad wiring job or something.

They will give you something extra, but I doubt it's anything worth it. Probably will just use your save file, not the disc. Though, you can always rent, borrow or something SFIV to unlock it on SSFIV, plus it'll be very cheap by then if you do need the disc.
