During EA's half-hour investor callstravaganza yesterday, CEO John Riccitiello unleashed a flurry of game titles set to be released in the company's "FIscal 2011." For EA, that falls anywhere between April 1, 2010 and March 30, 2011 -- a window that now holds the release of "a great new version of Medal of Honor, a revitalized Need for Speed, Sims on console, FIFA in a World Cup year, an innovative and new take on Madden, Dead Space 2, Crysis at full margins, a new MMA game, and many others."
Considering this laundry list of games is getting little more than a 12-month window for release, we're taking the logical next step and throwing darts at images of the games on our cork-board calendar. According to our impeccable aim... everything is coming out in November. Not helpful!

What's sad is by the time Crysis 2 comes out I will likely have a new, very powerful, computer and it still won't be able to run it at max.
Oh well I'm pretty sure it's coming to consoles now too so either way it won't be an issue. I know my 360 will run it :P

If you have a new PC by the time the game comes out why would you even bother getting it for the 360? Even if it doesn't run on Max it will look and run better.

Because I'm still not going to want to play PC games. The benefits of console gaming is ten-fold over PC, so I'll only be using it for exclusives. I played COD 4 on PC just for kicks and using a mouse/keyboard was one of the most uncomfortable thigns I've ever done. It was even worse than getting used to the Wiimote.

I'm confused.
You say that Crysis 2 won't be able to run it at max. And then you're happy that the 360 version will just run it? But, aren't you saying that your PC will run it too? I forgot where it said somewhere that a game not running at max is somehow not running at all?
And, if Crysis 2 is going to run smoothly on consoles then it's probably going to run just as smooth if not smoother on a powerful PC. The 360 architecture and physical components are essentially just derived from PC components which is why it's so much easier to develop on than, say, the PS3 which is much more console-proprietary.
And Crysis on medium or medium-high or whatever the settings below max looks just as good on max. You'd be hard-pressed to find/see the differences.

LOLLLL your preference. I prefer PC over Console for almost every genre (except fighters and platformers, but that's what controllers are for).

No, I agree with Tmac. Playing with a keyboard and mouse is one of the worst gaming experiences I have ever had.

Sorry to hear that. Typing out that comment and clicking on the 'Add comment' link must be incredibly uncomfortable for you two.

Someone here (i dont if it was one of those 2 - tmac is a troll so I just ignore) said that it was "too easy" to point and click on a kb+mouse and thats why it was bad. I was literally crying with laughter.

*IF* Crysis 2 had kb/mouse support for consoles, you'd most likely be getting owned by some pc gamers. This is merely because kb/mouse is so much more accurate. ESPECIALLY w/ aiming/sniping.
