They should just change it back to SciFi, holy hell.

I agree, bring back SciFi. You don't need to trademark it, it's branded (or was) so well that the mention of SciFi usually made people think of the channel anymore, not the genre.

Sometimes the obvious escapes even the brightest of minds.

That actually sounds like a genius idea if it were done right. If they could make the show popular I bet they could turn a profit if they made the game free.. Subscription-based pay I still think is not ready for mainstream.

In 20 years we will look back on this period of 2010-2015 and reflect how the great influx of MMO's nearly brought the entire gaming industry to its knees.

Seriously, this needs to stop. Too many exist, and too many are being made.

I would actually be more concerned with the casual influx than too many MMO's.

So they are taking the premise of the dot. Hack series and actually creating a MMO? Sounds like a decent idea if pulled off properly. Though if they have events/situations effect both the MMO and show weekly it may just fail. Now if they did the show and say have a cliff hanger of say a "War" being won or lost on the actions of those in the MMO and then have that be reflected in the show when the new season starts that may definatly be interesting.

If it's anything like their terrible movies, you can count me out. ... Actually just count me out altogether; I'd need to be paid to consider a SyFy game
