Heh. Blame your precious Microsoft for buying Rare and causing Donkey Kong Racing to be canceled.

Call me crazy, but I thought Nuts & Bolts picked up quite nicely with the open world platformer/racer idea of DKR. Obviously it's an entirely different beast, but it can be played somewhat similarly.
As unbelievably awesome as N&B was though, it's still no replacement for DKR... Dammit, now I want a sequel =(

I was ready to ignore this game, especially with ModNationRacers coming out and Sega not including Segata, but I might have to get it anyway.

I constantly forget ModNationRacers exists. It just looks so... Generic.

Do you even know what you just said?
Either way, you'll probably get screwed. Literally.

That's what I really don't like about the complexity and sophistication of the Playstation HOME avatars. They take such a realistic approach that we probably won't ever be able to see them integrated in games such as these.
Compared to the 360 Avatars and Miis, the Home avatars are lame (if you ask me, that is).

I'm excited. I've really enjoyed the last several Sega games I bought. I don't know why people are so down on them. Sega Superstars Tennis was a lot of fun, and I read good things about MadWorld and The House of the Dead: Overkill.

A lot of people are, but not all.
I enjoyed Valkyria Chronicles, and Sonic Unleashed wasn't bad.

I love you, and hate you man.
Now I will be wasting all night after work watching the cutscenes from that game again.
Not getting the same vibe though, since the Freaky Flyers characters had personality in-game, and this cast is just silent, relying on the player to know what they're like. (Which I do, but still, not an FF vibe)

Yeah man I'd much prefer a totally unwieldy method of control over a regular stick!

Wow, Billy hatcher :-0..
And while nintendo don't update Wii's Mario kart , this looks like a worthy clone/sequel.. IF the slide provides a a boost..if not.. LAME ... To play with the Wii Wheel is clearly another experience.. I know some people find it "lame", but i like challenge.. :-)

People overreact when it comes to the Wii-Wheel controls.
It honestly isn't that bad.

Sega, no Vyse? Aika? Fina? Welkin? Alicia? Selvaria? Elwyn? Blanc Neige? Mother Brain? I guess RPGs are off limits for mascot games.
Thanks for including Alicia's uniform in Project Diva, though, out of place though it was in a music game. Ulala's outfit actually made sense.

Okay, seriously? BD Joe over Axel? This game will not be getting a 10/10 in 2010 from me now.

I didn't recognize BD Joe at first. I didn't remember his name until I read "Crazy Taxi." Axel is the more well-known Crazy Taxi driver.

BD Joe was always my favorite of the cast. I don't know who's the most popular, but I'd see Axel as being the "mascot" of the game, seeing how he was the "default" character.
