@ShadowflareXIII: So what are you saying, exactly? That the existence of some Sesame Street games on motion tech will kill the whole industry? Ok.....sure.

So basically I shouldn't want my kids to have a good time with some new tech while learning in the process? I thought we were FOR bringing games into wider acceptance on this site?

Dude, if this little shit kills a whole industry of full of hardcore gamers, then something must REALLY BE WRONG.

Sounds like you just never found out how to get to Sesame Street all those years ago.

"Warner Bros. has yet to announce specifics -- like target platforms or release dates -- but has allegedly expressed interest in the motion controllers set to arrive on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 later this year."

As awesome as Sesame Street was (it's gone downhill in recent years) if this is the kind of releases we can expect for the new motion controllers, I am officially disgusted.

All they have to do now is just get "The guy from that one movie" to get on the show and make silly faces and say "octagons" for 10 minutes and the kids love it.

Whoa you mean the controllers meant to ride the retarded wave of motion control gimmicks set in place by the Wii will attract similar shovelware?

HOLY MOLEY

"With Microsoft's Project Natal eliminating the controller entirely, we're sure to see some wonderful numeracy games involving Cookie Monster shoveling as many baked treats into his face as possible. We do that in front of the TV every day, so we may as well get points for it."

Hate to break it to ya Ludwig, but cookie monster no longer eats nothing but cookies. His new philosophy is that "Cookies are a sometime food."

Everyone keeps blowing that whole thing out of proportion. He didn't even sing the "Sometimes Food" song, it was Hoots and then he proceeded to gorge himself on cookies afterwards seeing as now is sometimes. And even in the late 80s, he was rapping about eating Healthy Food.

Besides, Cookie Monster eats everything. Cookies, trucks, the goddamn moon

And the Childrens Television Workshop.

If Disney produced it, it'd be on the Disney Channel in the US, but it's on PBS.

Disney just owns the Muppet Show muppets and Bear in the Big Blue House, CTW/Sesame Workshop now completely owns Sesame Street, and the Jim Henson company is pretty much just Fraggle Rock and the Creature Shop stuff now, along with newer stuff made sinc ethen.

I didn't pay for it, or even rent it, but i actually enjoyed the terminator game enough not to be ashamed of it. That and the fact i have a ft tall, steel terminator constantly staring at me as I play games, so i don't feel too bad. But even I won't play Avatar!

Having a high gamerscore doesn't mean you're a scorewhore either. I have like... I think about 60,000 and that's just because I play a lot of games. I think I have like less than half of the possible score from what I've played.

I did 1000/1000 Hitman: Blood Money and Batman: AA but that's because those games own. Well, and King Kong and TMNT but those were really just for beating the game iirc. The rest I think are arcade games like Pac-Man CE and Monkey Island.

I used to like letting my kids watch Sesame Street till the day came they aired the episode where what's her name adopted a child from Guatemala.

Do I have a problem with Guatemala? No
Do I have a problem with adoption? Hell no.
Do I have a problem with going to foreign nations to adopt a child when right around your corner you have a kid longing to have a family wanting to be loved?.........Hell yes.

I could give a damn about the race or nationality, and yes US adoption laws are f'd up but don't promote that behavior when so many kids are left in the system so close to home.
