I Am Alive, but don't expect me before April 2011

My eager and regularly disappointed followers,

I am becoming less saddened as the days between our union grow further still. Here, within the ethereal concepts in which I am trapped, I am no longer certain of my existence. They say, I don't look like myself anymore. Master Yves says that I am "totally re-engineered" ... that I have come to use "the Splinter Cell engine" -- but how should I know? How should anyone know? I am not like the others; and I make no claim to being important or "major," as it is said. My maker has cast me out of its fiscal 2010-11 release calendar. I am alone. But I am okay with that.

A game named "I am Alive" sounds like vaporware.

Actually he is right. Seriously. Uncharted:Drakes Fortune sounds like some $10 crap-ware game for a PC you would find at an old CompUSA in the bargain bin PC game crate.

The title may sound lame, but that's not what vaporware is.

I agree with Bimmy too. Stop thinking of the actual game and just pretend you're hearing the title for the first time. I'm sure nobody's thinking "wow, that's awesome". Now undownvote that guy.

Considering this isn't the first delay for this game...is this the new Alan Wake?

If it doesn't come out before April 2011 then yeah it is the Sony version of Alan Wake

The concept of this game has always intrigued me. I can only hope it actually comes out. I want something different to play.

I had COMPLETELY forgotten about this game.

This never would have happened if they hadn't pulled Jade Raymond off of him. It. The project. The game we are talking about... I Am Alive.

Hopefully they are pushing it to finish Beyond Good & Evil 2. Been waiting almost 7 years for that sequel..

I Am Not Dead

Still want it, whatever you haters say. This and Disaster: Day Of Crisis on Wii totally excited the part of my brain that has a deep appreciation for Ernest Borgnine movies. I think it's called Shatner's bassoon.

Don't think anyone is hating on the concept....people just want to see the game.

So what is this game about?

It was a survival title, in the style of Legendary (but without the suck).

So there will be mythological creatures (four) and you have to stop Pandora's Box or whatever? Sounds disappointing, honestly.

No, that would be the 'suck' part I referred to.

I realize spelling corrections are not popular, but seriously, 3 people in a row misspelled "Spartacus." It's like some sort of bait. And--hey, are my feet stuck to the floor?

From a retail perspective, sure; it's a weird name. As a consumer, however, I like it a lot. It lends itself well to a slow pan of the city, with the title fading in ominously.

The single trailer that we have shows that the city is destroyed via earthquake. For some reason, I have a tingling sensation that the earthquake is somehow artificial, be it man-made or alien-made.

I thought this was portal sequel :(

So maybe portal sequel is sooner :)

Oh man, this fucking game. I think BG&E 2 has more of a chance than this. Shenmue 3 has more of a chance than this...
