Actually all PSX games can be played on the PSP. Ive just got through my second playthrough of Xenogears and im in the middle of Soul Reaver

I've only tried a couple of PS1 classics such as Driver, but it seems to allow you to copy the game to the PSP's media card and run it locally - no need for Remote Play.

PS. Driver was better in the nostalgia of my memory than it was in reality. Ten years is a long time in gaming history.

PPS. Given the slow drip feed of PS1 titles when each is currently chargeable, it is hard to see the incentive for Sony to up the pace if they do go to a premium subscription model.

Maybe Sony's too busy celebrating their hardware sales for last month and they forgot to put some actual decent stuff on PSN?

Or maybe they're committing suicide on the (usual) abysmal ps3 software sales, thus being physically unable to update PSN?

Thanks tmac, I forgot Sony is the one that makes demos for 3rd party games and puts it up on PSN. I also forgot that Sony is the one that makes all of the downloadable games and puts them up on PSN. Thanks for reminding me that this is entirely Sony's fault. It's really odd how I seem to overlook that as often as I do.

+1 for The Pirate btw.

Only reason why I haven't: Money.

No one mentioned the fact that PSP has a demo for the Lunar: Silver Star remake. Loved the original, and downloading the demo now. Hopefully they didn't destroy it.

I loved Lunar, however i preferred Game Arts other Sega Saturn/PSX RPG. Grandia. Thats still one of the best games ever created in my opinion.

Just finished the Lunar demo, and it did not disappoint. Much better than expected. I was pretty angry when I heard they were re-doing the graphics for the game, but it works very well. Gonna have to pick this one up.

Yes, I know it's Sony Cambridge who made the game (with a lot of input from Mm) but I'm sure I read somewhere on Mm's site that the DLC would be out this week. I think it was called The Sack That Time Forgot...just don't know exactly where I saw it now.
