But more importantly, Ebersol's Olympic coverage is going to suck. Again.

Who is Ebersol and why is he such a cockbag? Conan is a bastion of glorious light in the horrible pits of hell that is NBC every day except Thursday night. Leno had his chance, and then a second chance with his 10oclock bullshit, and now he's taking it away from Conan, who's being a good guy and not taking Fallon's chance away.

Ebersol is actually not pushing Leno, he's pushing for Fallon to get The Tonight Show.

Now that'd be a twist.

Hey, Batman, please explain me why you and everybody else is hating on Jay Leno. You don't have to *explain* me, I'd settle for some link.

It's just that I don't live there so I don't know what happened. All I know is that Jay Leno used to host the Tonight Show (I used to watch it... I didn't think it was that bad... But I always preferred to watch the Late Night with Conan) and when he left, Conan took his place. And Jimmy Fallon took Conan's place, therefore making it impossible to watch the Late Night, it's so unfunny it hurts...

Basically, Leno now wants his job back? Wants to take Conan's place?

You have the most important parts. You probably know too that Leno didn't really want to quite so he got an hour at 10oclock only it absolutely tanked in both ratings and critical approval, so now Leno wants his old timeslot back. NBC wanted to let Conan keep the tonight show title only shift it half an hour and give leno half an hour from 1130 to 12, but Conan was unwilling to tarnish what he considered "the greatest franchise in broadcast history" so, I'm pretty sure now officially Jay has the entire hour tonight show back and Conan doesn't have a show

The Leno on the right looks like an old and frightened Jeff Gerstmann.

That was awesome and I'm not even a Kimmel fan. I think I may be now. This whole conflict is making for great television. I haven't been so interested in the talk show scene since the writers strike. I've been a little shocked at how blunt everyones being and how NBC is letting it all air. Almost makes you think its for ratings or something.Hmmm

Why is everyone bagging on Leno? He never wanted to quit. NBC forced him out and then realized they wanted to keep him after they signed Conan. He still wants to do what he loves. You guys need to wipe the CoCo off your noses.

Exactly. The only reason they forced Leno to quit was because they were afraid Conan would leave for Fox, and they'd have to pay a bunch of money to him.

And it's happening anyway.

the reason everyone is bagging on him is because he sucks and is trying to take the spot he had for what, 20 years away from someone who deserves the spotlight.

It's so much easier to watch him now and go to bed than stay up till after Leno to watch his show.

NBC's entire late night lineup. INCLUDING Conan, the guy just isn't funny. He's got all the internet dorks rooting for him but in the end who cares? Team Letterman. Suckas.

Tip of the Week!! Ghost Unmasked!
I don't know if anyone else noticed this but watched the intro movie to Modern Warfare 2 and noticed that in the clip where Soap and "Ghost" were about to torture that guy in the garage, the character that should have been Ghost (in the campaign) was someone different. Maybe that's what Ghost looks like with no mask? Dunno.

Getting Visceral on the podcast, a little late this week. Good show as usual. Once again Justin McElroy steals the show. He might just be the Caucasian Samuel L Jackson.
