That entire time I thought that girl was going to be a class. Now she's just a stripper.

Also, will people EVER come up with some new classes?

Well their all about different speeds and ranges, so there is limited combinations, although I suppose there's probably a third factor that could be part of a persons combat style that could be used to come up with some more.

Crap! I saw the video beforehand, thought up the joke and didn't bother reading the article before I posted it, joystiq inevitably made a similar joke before me.

Meh.

They should've just used the time and effort to do a Smash TV sequel.

You have got to be kidding me, it's a total rip-off of Team Fortress 2.

Well it's just nice seeing someone (brace yourself for oxymoronic statement) is being original with the games they clone. GTA and God of War clones have been all the rage.

I don't really like the art style of the game, but I'll give it a chance for the co-op.

Talking about Team Fortress 2 and XBLA have Valve ever hinted at a possible XBLA release for the game?

Why? You can get it for 20 bucks along with a shit ton of other good games in one box. Besides, I'm pretty sure TF2 would be too big for an XBLA game.

They have blatantly copied Smash TV. On their website it says BIG MONEY! BIG PRIZES! Isn't that exact same slogan used in Smash TV?

If by blatantly copying Smash TV you mean its set in an arena, then yes it is. Other than that, Smash TV is an outdated piece of shit. But why is everybody up in arms about this? Team Fortress 2 is fun and all but as Yahtzee puts it:

"You get to decide between territory control in a desert environment, territory control in an industrial environment, or just to mix things up capture the flag in a desert industrial environment."

At least with Monday Night Combat you get a similar gameplay style with a different map. And I would also say that it looks like a combination of Team Fortress 2 and Unreal Tournament which isn't such a bad thing.

They released Portal by itself with some addition content, just thought that releasing Team Fortress 2 with all the updates could happen. It would be a good way to revitalise the community and considering MS will most likely make Valve charge for the content updates on 360 Valve could release an XBLA version of TF2 w/updates to make the price worth it.

Portal has a lot less in the way of art assets than TF2 does, so it's much easier to Arcade-icize it.

Or you could just play it on PC. 360 will never be updated at this rate. Stop carrying, it'll make you feel better.

Lol, It looks like somebody took Global Agenda, TF2, and a little known arcade shooter called The Grid and smashed them all together.

I didn't think anyone here would remember The Grid. I spent countless hours at the arcade playing that game. It was Mortal Kombat meets NBA Jam. I couldn't remember the name of it until now.

Hey, if it plays well, the controls ain't clunky, and matches are easy to get into, at 1200 MS points that's a steal. Here's hoping for the best.
