Cool. Tried to play this at some sort of expo or something in Millennium park a couple of years ago, but all these damn kids were in the way. Ended up playing Flower instead.

Cool story, Hansel.

Awesome. Now we just need some news on Fez and I'll burst with excitement over these amazing XBLA games.

people keep making braid comparisons, but this game was in development before braid was released. keep in mind it was a flash game before coming to XBLA, and all they're doing is updating it, making it longer, adding new levels, etc. so yeah, while it's a somewhat similar concept, this game isn't indebted to braid.

Hmm, looks a little like Braid 2, which isn't a bad thing at all. Quirky platformers FTW.

I played this for about 10-15 minutes at the Wired NextFest in Chicago's Millennium Park last year. It does have a cool art style, but the actual game play was, for me, really frustrating, and not really all that exciting at all. If I remember correctly, you had to somehow control two mirrored characters at once while avoiding pitfalls with each of them as creatures attacked you- a little two much for my brain to handle without a proper tutorial. Then again, I'm not a huge fan of 2D platformers or puzzle games, so that probably didn't aid in my low assessment of the game.

that looks really creepy...

killing yourself then going back in time.. to jump on yourself to avoid the thing that killed you before.

Woot for USC and Gamepipe. I'm currently in the program and hope that my Final Game project turns out as good as this when I'm a senior.

It might be useful for readers to know that Jonathan Blow (of Braid) was brought in for some input on this game pertaining to the time element, the extent of which I am unsure. He mentioned it somewhere on his blog, IIRC.
