Can't wait for ACIII --- clearly sooner than what fans have been expecting, hopefully the voice of Veronica Mars is still there dubbing for the hot doctor. Details for ACIII: http://bit.ly/assassins-creed-3-details

So, we're going to be following Ezio, Mario and all of those other guys there? Well, that could possibly be a good experience.

Hmmmm....well I'm interested...but I'm still wondering if we will have something like a MGO CQC only match....I guess we have to wait til E3 to see what the MP is all about...but as long as the story is good I have no complaints

Or they could just use a new protagonist like they did with AC2? I'm guessing Wing didn't play the first one.

Baroque London or Golden Age Amsterdam. (~1650-1750)
The assassin could have an ally among the newly fledgling Royal Society types (ala Robert Hooke).
Basically, an AC game set in Neal Stephenson's Baroque Cycle.

You're thinking that if the team could take AC1 and turn it into the polished diamond of AC2 then anything they make will be frigging awesome and you can't wait to buy it.

I defended Ubisoft when they announced the chapters that some thought were just parts cut out of the game to be sold as DLC later. I gave them the benefit of the doubt that those parts weren't actually completed before the game shipped. Now though....meh

Expansion packs are fine (like The Ballad of Gay Tony), but a full 60 dollar retail game? Why? What could they possibly do that couldn't be tacked on as an expansion? Why would they waste time doing a full game with the same setting, instead of working on AC3?

My mind has just been blown.

I think a full blown game would be alright, but it would have to be a stand-alone experience. Having just a few more missions would really do the game a disservice. I don't really mind whether is it AC2b or AC3 - as long as I can jump off buildings and impale dudes, I'll be happy.

As long as the story is a true sequel and has as much content as AC2, I'll be happy. If it is just two more cities some tacked on stuff, that would suck. But given how great a job they did with AC2, I doubt they would.

I don't like the trend of releasing additional content as DLC. I find that once I've finished the game, I don't usually buy additional DLC, as by that point something new and shiny has caught my eye. Case in point - Batman: Arkham Asylum. Great game. Absolutely no criticisms of it, loved the whole thing. But once I was done, I just moved on to the next thing (AC2 in this case). I wouldn't go back to it if they released some new content. Personal preference I guess.

yeah..... $60? I have a feeling it wont be worth it. I love both AC games, but this just seems lame. Dragon Age is having a disc expansion, but it's not full price. I fear that more and more games are going to do this.....

Wait one idea I just had is that this may help keep multiplayer out of AC3 which I would be totally in favor of. I just can't imagine assassin's creed with racist 14 year olds with no filter...

Sure you can, you just have to wait for the DLC to go live that unlocks the replay mission option.

...I didn't say you'd *like* my solution, I'm just sayin' it's possible.

I did...those lost gamerpoints still haunt me, and I'm not even an achievement whore. The only two achievements I don't have are the guard kicking, and the feather collecting.

Just wait for the dlc. Re flying machine is suppose to be back in some mission, so that will give you a chance to try it again.

@ BananaBoat - How can that be the only two acheivements you are missing? Doesn't collecting all of the feathers have other ahceivements tied to that aswell..sure you can't be missing just those two. (yes...I dabble in trophy\acheivement whoring lol)

I still haven't played ACII, but this news isn't exactly what I expected... :|

Why is it that they're focusing so much on Ezio? Isn't Desmond the main character? Isn't the whole plot to find out where these relics are so the modern templars can take over the world? Like I said, I haven't played ACII, but it just seems like they're throwing what makes Assassin's Creed interesting out the window and focusing more on the Assassin... :(
