The cute violence concept isn't exactly new in games -- Fairytale Fights says hi -- but we have to admit it's pretty funny to see stuffing spray out of a teddy bear as the result of a shotgun wound. Check it out in the trailer above. If you think you can bear it, of course.

I tend to agree, especially here, though. Puts the game into an entirely different perspective seeing that bear running for his life. A lot of the critics wrote off South Park early on for being nothing more than a medium to show delinquent kids in vulgar situations cursing their butts off (obviously not true, at least not anymore)... I'm kind of seeing that here: It's just cutesy violence for the sake of violence. Wanting to destroy "cute" things because they are cute is soooooo rebellious 12 year old angst.
Then again, one of my biggest complaints against the GTA series has been that they don't give you the choice to play the "good" guy, so maybe I'm a bit skewed here. Either way, My interest in this game is definitely dropping, hopefully this proves to be more than what I'm making it out to be. But I actually felt sorry for the bear in the trailer =/

Yep, it's a gay comment. Because they feel differently than you do. Right. Perhaps you should look up the definition of gay, because I'm pretty sure you're doing it wrong.
To add a comment of my own, I can see what the two original guys meant, I tend to follow the "good guy/goody two shoes path" as well...but sometimes, I just wanna shoot a teddy bear in the face. I don't mind this game at all. Stuffed animal slaughter? Yes please. Game looks fun.

Ho-hum... how original. Deja Vu, anyone? Been there, done that! How many (try-hard) cute plushy vulgar games are there that are actually any good?
Unless there is something very clever about this game, I'll make a pass on it.

Ah, I agree, Conker's Bad Fur Day though, is not THE try-hard cute plushy vulgar game that some try to be, it was actually clever!

Wow what's wrong with the gruffy bear? Tired of getting hugs by the innocent 4 year olds?

I don't get why I want to play as this bear. In the first video he seemed like an unhinged lunatic that terrorizes his neighbors. What about him being a psychopath would make me want to invite him to my party? I didn't know excluding murderers from your birthday guest list was a slap in the face of good manners and etiquette.

Maybe the bear was a mafia tank driver that killed the other bear's friend.

Not in my eyes, but I never played Manhunt though because I always thought it would be grisly violence.
