It was an awfully close week, with six of the seven contenders all landing within just 30 votes of one another -- but the people have spoken, and elected 2P Start's "The Harvest of Time" as last week's best gaming-related webcomic. We wager it's because it reveals a facet of Link that not many people understand: He's an ice-cold bastard, who won't hesitate to destroy your lawn or wreck your pottery to find a few loose Rupees. What a tremendous jerk.
Second and third place went to The Great Indoors' "Fanboyonetta" and Penny Arcade's "A Review of the Preview," respectively. If you've got a favorite strip you'd like to see in tonight's wrapup, drop a link in the comments, or send in a tip!

The iPhone formatting for the site isn't working anymore when you click on a story. It loads the normal website. Please fix. Seems to be happening on all of AOLs family of (wonderful) blog sites.

You going to i.joystiq.com or m.joystiq.com? Yeah, m.joystiq is fubared. i.joystiq works fine on my DSi, though.

So it's not just me? I know the dedicated console sites have always done that, but now the iPhone site is too.
Please, fix.

Having the same issue with all the AOL blogs too. You can even see it on a computer...just go to i.joystiq.com from a browser and it does the same thing. If you just add an "i." in front of whatever article you're reading it will be the right formatting, but it is inconvenient to have to do that for every article when you're on a cell phone.

Here's our MNC offering for the week:

Please try and ignore the lack of hair on the guard in panel 2. Our artist was a bit drunk while working on this one. :)

Lol
Could no-one have tried their hand at a little shading?
Also, good artist if he can do that while drunk.

Yeah, he's a great artist who doesn't read these boards so I can rest assured he won't hear the compliment. :) His drunk work is far and away better than anything I could ever hope to draw. I guess having that Sequential Art degree came in useful after all.

That was kind of funny. Looks like you need to get drunk more often.

I honestly stopped reading the webcomics for a bit. 2P however did an excellent job not just making a funny joke, but the drawings are fantastic.

Wasn't bad. A lot better than the majority that get suggested in the comments sections.

I totally endorse this comic. If Shyeah doesn't make the round-up this week, it can only be attributed to a gross miscarriage of comic selection.

I took a comic hiatus over Christmas, so I haven't been in a in a long time, but perhaps this: http://ofnoobsandmen.com/2010/01/13/mister-ubiquitous/
And this isn't videogame related, but I'm proud of it nonetheless:
