Mind naming a few bugs on FIFA10?

The game is almost EPIC. But i have over 300 matches and i didnt encounter any glitches, except for some graphical ones which r pretty minors.

Anyways, EA shifted from their Moneymaking strategy to a more consumer-friendly driven strategy. I mean, they revived the FIFA Franchise in a three year lapse, bring awesome IPs for the last 3 years (Dante's Inferno, Dead Space, Mirror's Edge, Saboteur, etc, etc)

I have the 360 version and the game locks up a decent amount in Multiplayer. Thats the only bug I know of.

I agree with you MrXile. I wish they'd actually fix the bugs in the game, rather than trying to squeeze every single dollar out of their customers.

For those asking for examples of bugs, have you even tried playing Manager Mode? You know, the most hyped "new" feature in the game. It does not work.

It's just a shame that you, nor the reviewers didn't actually play through the game, or they would have noticed what a complete mess it is. And for EA to not fix it now (but claiming that Microsoft has some crazy limit on the patches) is just atrocious..

out of curiosity, how do you think that goalkeeping and shooting are broken?

the only problem i have with goalies is that they come out when you don't tell them to. This leads to the easy chip. That's really the only frustrating thing i can think of.

im also not sure about the netcode. If you only play games with 3 bars of connection it's very good. I personally have only been dropped once for no reason. In all modes i've played over 200 games online so that's pretty good... I just assumed most connection breaks are because of bad connections on the client side.

The coming out I believe is the main gripe held by most but there's still flaws in AI like producing a great double save from point blank range but missing simple catches etc

Shooting still has flaws they said FIFA 10 improved low hard shots, but it didn't really, it imprved it but you still cant drill a full power shot low, top players can do it in real life, and if it's in the game?.......

Disconnections arent too much of a problem this year, but the lag is still a major talking point and has actually gotten worse, I've had games that were so laggy I wanted to quit and that was while showing full connection (and these aint randoms who might have crappy internet, these are friends who report full bars on the other end as well).

Mmmm, ya, the Goalkeeper things might be the only thing that i partly agree. Depends actually on the type of setup u play with.

I mean with all semi assisted (and manual shooting) i think that shooting is ALMOST perfect, playing with the Stick, not the d pads.

The netcode... mmm i play with ppl from my country (3 bars all the time) and its almost perfect. The loading times (the arena thingie) has been reduced, sometime i cant even shoot ONCE.


I do want my Ultimate Team for free as madden. and i would GLADLY pay for World Cup DLC (Instead of a different new game, which they WILL release). But hey its EA, they are changing but they r still EA.

You do know that by clicking double "Y" (Xbox) you can stop the goalie coming out?

Will buy this anyway, the more modes the merrier.


Now all they need to add is 2 player v CPU (be a pro) on Xbox live.

The problem is that they are in no form rare glitches or errors. They happen all the time.


And as you said, GK's coming off the line waaaaay to often. There is no inteligence in what they are doing.
That, combined with the over-powerfull lobbed shot leads to the number of goals online is at least 50% lobbed shots.

looking at that video, i've never seen any of those big glitches. The only real problem i've seen is that crosses go in a bit too often, but that does happen in real life too.

could most of those be PS3 only? cuz in almost 500 games i haven't got any game ruining ones. It also looked like that person got some of those glitches on purpose. The teams were the same so it looked like he did them all in one game. No way that's by coincidence.
