We know the wait until Jan. 26 and Mass Effect 2 seems insurmountable at this point, but the Xbox Deal of the Week may serve as a soothing poultice to provide a smidgen of relief. If you act this week, you can pass the next eight days playing Mass Effect DLC "Bring Down The Sky" and "Pinnacle Station" for just 240 points ($3) each.
Oops, we forgot about Battleship being lowered to 400 points, but we're assuming you will too, so no harm done, right?

Bring Down the Sky is a steal at $3. Pinnacle Station is...ok. I'd lower it a dollar or a dollar and a half to call it a bargain though.

It's not horrible, I enjoyed it myself. But only as a side note, and not something that expanded the story or universe at all.

eep. 8 days? Crap! So much for proper sleep during that time. Can I take vacation from work to play non-stop? ;D
I got Bring Down The Sky a while ago, but avoided Pinnacle Station. Based on what everyone has said about it, it will stay that way.
I'm an achievement whore and all, but no thank you.

Gonna get these two and then pick up Big Surf Island later in the month when I get some more points. 225(ish) a piece for those three is fantastic value.

Can anyone explain why so many games release on Tuesdays?

It's not just games, it's book, cds, and dvds too.

Yay for learning things! I found a yahoo answers thing about the whole "Tuesday" thing, but A) I don't remember the rules about posting links to other sites, and B) it's yahoo answers, so everything has to be taken with a grain of salt.

already got bring down the sky for 240, trying to talk myself into getting pinnacle station too.
bring down the sky is amazing, my favorite dlc for any game, any time hands down..
pinnacle station didnt get such rave reviews so im hesitant to pick it up even at such a low price.
plus im not sure ill ever play all the way thru Mass Effect again after playing Mass Effect 2. good sequels have a way of ruining the originals for me..

Picked up both of these, and Pinnacle station is complete garbage. Not even worth the 240.

And if you want to save 3 bucks, find a friend that bought the Platinum Hits version of ME and install Bringing down the sky for free from the bonus disc.

I thought I'd give Battleship a go, since it was cheap this week, maybe give my son a chance to try an old favorite. However, it doesn't seem to be in the deals of the week, and is still showing as 800 points in the marketplace.

Battleship is only on sale in Japan! Not the U.S. I have been looking forward to that freaking game for weeks now on sale. Nice job MS not saying one damn word about JAPAN ONLY until after it drops.
