If I'm going to play through Perfect Dark again, I can only hope they go back and revisit the code to touch up a bit. We aren't dealing with an N64 anymore, so maybe the framerate could stay around the 30 fps mark and the hands could have actual fingers instead of a door stop.

Timesplitters would be the best! My stupid friend sold that to me for $5 so he could buy drugs. What a fool! If that was re-released on XBLA and Perfect Dark is coming out soon, I would never have to buy another XBLA game again. I'd be set for life

I agree, a true Next-gen Banjo. Or better yet, they could get their asses in a row and start developing new, good games. Doesn't even have to be fresh.
They did a decent racer and a boat load of platform/adventure games for the N64, did all their talent leave or something? They haven't done bad games since then but they sure lost their strut. If revisiting old classics will help them get back on track to modernizing genres like they did on the SNES and N64, wonderful.
Just stop teasing us, either way.

YES! Oh hell yes! I can't believe I forgot it was Rare that made that. And hey, maybe this time every copy I own won't have some kinda game-breaking glitch.
I mean the first copy I got from gamestop was missing a switch in the first spaceship level. Then I took it back and it froze on them mid-logo screen, so they replaced it, and the second copy then requested that I get 13 space ship parts despite there only being 12 available.
Still one badass game though, and the multiplayer was fun too.

Well I had already figured I was just unlucky at the time (by the time I found the error in my second copy it was past the return/exchange date).
But still, despite not being able to finish the story I still really loved that game. So many fond memories. It was just all kinds of awesome back in the day.

I'd be fine with just the game and online multi-player. Used to pwn other kids when I was 10 with my RCP-90's, I'm sure I can pwn other adults today.

I seem to recall that a Goldeneye sequel would have required the Bond license, which they didn't get to keep, which is why they did Perfect Dark in the first place.
So, yeah, seriously expect a Battletoads sequel to have more legs than another Goldeneye.

oops, i thought this was about what games we'd like to see re-released, not actual sequels. yeah, in that case, my hopes for a true goldeneye sequel are misplaced.
