UK retailer Game has listed the Battlefield: Bad Company 2 demo as starting on February 4, 2010. The demo will apparently run for three weeks on both Xbox Live and PlayStation Network. Although these details have yet to be confirmed by EA or DICE, the information seems rather specific and comes from a major retailer.
While we await a response from EA, we're going to keep watching footage of the stuff we hope to do in Battefield: Bad Company 2. Look for it on shelves in March.

Hopefully this is true so my friends on Xbox can experience this game.

Wouldn't the PS3 Beta still be running then?

Seriously?
Usually with beta's end before the official demo comes out. Why would any developer keep a small beta group open when they can have a larger pool when they release the official demo.

It did? Because the beta client doesn't expire until the 28th of Feb.

@Platinum_lame
Uncharted 2 released the beta as the demo. I don't understand your logic with the pools. Recent updates would have the beta and demo running on the same build of the game... the beta pools and official demo pools would be playing together.
MAG also reopened the beta once the official demo was released.

And the PC "beta" starts a few days later, what a joke.

I meant it starts a few days beforehand. My bad.

This is awesome. The demo comes out on my birthday.
But shameless plugs aside, this game looks ridiculously fun.
