So how is home these days? I haven't checked it out in about a year.

not too bad, try sodium one for something to do, it's pretty good and I might buy all the salt shooter levels

Otherwise it's still nothing to get excited about, I just wish they would give all the features from the original demo like a trophy room and media frames.

Has Amazon always given a $10 video game credit with all their pre-orders? If so, I'm just going to buy all my stuff from them now.

They started doing it last year. It's usually only the standard editions, though.

Even though this Amazon deal / costume is great, people will still be saying negative things about Home on here...kinda tired of defending it when no one will give it a second chance. Oh well, I'll be enjoying the Home costume anyway.

I kinda wonder why you guys post any Home news at all, to be honest.

I don't think Joystiq posted about the opening of the Irem space in the US Home. It was a big deal for me, because I'd really been wanting to have that R9 Arrowhead fighter model in my US-account apartment; I've had it in my Asia-account apartment for months, and it's one of the coolest Home items around, I think. Your very own R-Type fighter craft! Surrounded by goldfish escorts (from the fish-scooping minigame in the Irem space, which is, to my chagrin, MISSING from the US rendition of the Irem space)! The only way they could top this would be if Konami made a Vic Viper model available in Home. Or any of the starships from Star Trek.

"if you feel like picking up chemically engineered underage girls in Sony's online community."

I saw some guy the other day...he call himself "aggie_ceo" and I didn't know but he's and actual registered sex offender he may like that.

killdash, IREM was / is monumental for all NA Home users. I never would have imagined that I'd be seeing IREM in NA, due to contractual agreements with Japan and such. But this opens so many doors for Home, including many of the other IREM spaces and content that I am sure will come our way. When IREM Square launched in Japan, the fishing game wasn't there from the start either. So we'll get it when IREM Square gets updated in NA. They do have Star Trek costumes for Home, but you either had to rent / buy the Star Trek movie from the PS Store or buy that DAC game. I'm not sure if the promotion is still going on though.

I hope the fish-scooping game does come over. I want my R9 to have some space fish escorts, or maybe space fish enemies, a la Darius.

I have been trying to get this damned reply to go through for days, but something is making the comment system block it. Yet another try, rewording again:

I got the red female and gold male Star Trek uniforms by renting the new film to show my parents back when the offer was still going, in late December. They are not the clothes from the original series, though, but rather the new film.
