This week on XBLA in Brief, we take a brief look (geddit?) at Vandal Hearts: Flames of Judgment and Death By Cube. The two games are about as different as can be, with Vandal Hearts being a strategy RPG -- a rarity on XBLA -- and Death By Cube offering a frantic twin-stick shooter. Both games seem good at what they do, though Death By Cube may just have a little magic in its simple, hectic formula. Really, no comments for this post. Seems very lonely in here. Anywho, Vandal Hearts is great. Bought it this morning. Although, not sure about the "Flames of Judgment" title.
Just saying, Vandal Hearts is EXACTLY like Final Fantasy Tactics. Its a graphical update, the battle system has been tweaked only SLIGHTLY, but in its core, it seems to me like a Final Fantasy Tactics rip-off.
Don't get me wrong, I think thats a good thing. Buts its missing one thing that FFT had: multiplayer.
