It's too bad you can't use your own songs, though, I am not too big on chiptunes.

When I first saw the screenshot, I thought it was the Pixelation level from Little Big Planet :X

This could be my first buy in the Bit.trip series. Hope it doesn't disappoint.

The Bit.Trip games have always looked interesting to me, but I haven't bothered to pick any up yet. Or anything for WiiWare, really. :(

Is it me or is Bit Trip trying to copy Pixeljunk in that each game is something different from the last and they are all downloadable?

How do you copy a business model? There's similarities, that's all there is... Both fantastic series from fantastic studios who come up with fantastic ideas and execute them fantastically... Fantastic!

The bit Generations series also exists, in which Q Games developed one entry (and they were all released before the PixelJunk series). As does ArtStyle, which is actually download only. I'm sure there are plenty more.

Ah yes, the "Arkedo Series" series is a prime example as well.

That could have a purpose. Pixeljunk is very popular, but is PS3 only.

Provide an alternative to Pixeljunk limited to the most popular platform, and holy hell, you've found supply and demand!

Wonder how much money they are leaving on the table just staying on Wiiware. Not exactly a hotbed of sales over there I suspect.

Bet they would do better if they released games on XBLA and PSN as well as Wii. I know I would have probably bought one or two of these by now.

I really want to try out their games, but limiting it to WiiWare locks me out of doing that. Oh well, I guess that's how the market works

I highly recommend downloading the Bit.Trip BEAT demo to anyone who has yet to experience the nirvana that is the Bit.Trip series.

Donkey Kong: Jungle Beat isn't a rhythm platformer then?

Could've sworn, Bit. Trip. was supposed to be a trilogy... Not complaining, love their games... Just sayin'.

Still have only played the first Bit Trip game - Beat - but damn it I'm beating that 2nd level before I move on! I'm very close now, with each rerun being a high score, but just not any level completion yet.

Looks interesting. Depending on how long the levels are, 50 levels is a massive number for a downloadable game, especially when the previous Bit Trip games have been quite light affairs that have relied on (and supplied) lots of replay value.
