This song won't be in the ME2 soundtrack unfortunately as it's done by Two Steps from Hell, it's called "Heart of Courage":

An extremely fitting tune for such an epic trailer of an epic game. Cannot wait to plunge into ME2 next week!

ashley or miranda.......damn you bioware for making my decision so much more difficult!

that depends on the choices you make. Did you send kaidan with the salarians or have him guard the nuke? Because they both get the same death scene things depending on which thing you assign them to at the start of the battle

I cannot wait for this game.......the universe and characters of this series are so well detailed......SQUENIX could learn a thing or two from BIOWARE....I've gotten so bored with the Final Fantasy series.
I've heard FFXIII is even more linear which makes me worry.

I like the homage to heart of darkness "one very specific man all that stands between us and the greatest threat..." "on man's odyssey into the heart of darkness...", it's fitting that martin sheen is one of the main characters, I bet it was a conscious casting decision considering his role in apocolypse now.

Oooh, nice thought on the Apocalypse Now connection. I don't quite understand your reference, cause I've never watched that whole movie, but I can tell it's astute. Plus what I did see of that movie was powerful and moving. Meow.

Apoc. Now was more or less a retelling of Heart of Darkness only it takes the story to Vietnam instead of the Congo, you should def. check both out, basically the same idea: only one man is thought to be able to do what it takes to get the job done, and gets sent in the depths farthest from civilization to bring down Kurtz (I guess kurtz would be a reaper? lol)
wouldn't be surprised to find out in the game that some familiar ally in the game is actually working with the reapers or is behind the attacks on human planets.

Ironically, I was working on a trailer (for a different property) using that same music.

Not gonna lie. I left Ashley to die. She was way to prude to me in the beginning so I moved on to the blue chick. Heyoooooooooo

I killed Ashley too haha. She checked me when I tried to kiss her so I left her to die. I dont think I over-reacted.

Still playing through the first one, but I'm damn happy to see that Tali is about for ME2. I loves me some Tali

Yeah, Tali is bad ass. I want to see her face, if she even has one. But it's obvious from the trailers that she has a huge role in this game.

I am just going to have to stop lying to you all, I am sexually attracted to Garrus. He is the baddest MoFo in RPG history!
Posted: Jan 22nd 2010 5:19AM (Unverified) said
I shan't judge you Cobra, for the Geth give me a bionic(and bioTIC, hooo) boner. Garrus is cool ass shit too though, like all the characters and the story in general. You know, I bet that the Mass Effect novel(s) would be cool to read, considering the guy who wrote the game wrote the books.

I'd have to say that of all the trailers the one that I kinda wish that I hadn't watched was the early "Enemies Reveal" trailer. I would have been so excited to learn about that "rogue" Geth dude(sexiest idea ever) or that new race who, like, steals people while actually playing the game. By the way, the Geth are the hottest fucking robots ever created! Especially those death sounds, and especially the loud squeally death sound!

Are you crazy?! I loved the class trailers, especially because they are narrated by a transsexual. Confused? Go watch one again. That's "Christina Normandy" speaking, and that is most definitely a man's voice.

Is anyone else feeling like Thane is voiced by the same bloke who does Harry Morgan, you know Dexter's dad. From the show "Dexter", duh! I bet some joystiq staff-bro knows what I'm talking about.
