We really have no idea what to think about Risk: Factions, but we're definitely interested. Sure, it seems a bit silly, but regular Risk is included in the package and the game is being developed by Stainless Games, the same studio that did XBLA's incredibly competent Magic the Gathering: Duels of the Planeswalkers. XBLA has been without Risk too long, so let's get this puppy (possible faction?) out the door.

If only it could be as fun as gathering around a real table for some global domination.
Looks like a decent substitute, though!

I could really care less for the extremely cartoony art-style. Looks somewhat promising anyway.

The only Risk I ever enjoyed was Castle Risk.
Give me Axis and Allies on xbla/psn any day of the week!

Back in the day when Halo and Halo 2 were popular all my friends would do a week gig called 'Halopalooza', where every night its at a different house playing Halo. But at my one buddy's house he loved to play axis and allies. It wasn't much fun with him though. Since he owned the game and braged about playing the game (by himself mind you) and winning with Soviet Union or The Japanese since they are the two hardest nations to win with. I'm telling ya, the game is fun, but when you're stuck with Russia or Japan and my friend had US, the Nazi's or GB, the game just wasn't fun.
To have that game online would be too sweet. It would be a first day purchase for me on both consoles I bet!

Dumb...
How did Hasbro piss away all of the excitement they created for this franchise with Risk: Black Ops a couple of years ago and leave us with this?
Way to listen to your customers, Hasbro.
