Assassin's Creed 2 DLC 'Battle of Forli' available Jan. 28

Ubisoft has just tweeted what we've all been waiting for: the release date of the first promised bit of DLC for Assassin's Creed 2, "Battle of Forli." The add-on will be out next Thursday, January 28, for a meager sum of 320

/ $3.99 on Xbox Live and PSN. We say "meager" because, well, Ubisoft could totally get away with charging us more. We very much liked that Assassin's Creed 2 game, but shh, don't tell them that! We wouldn't want to give them any ideas for pricing the "Bonfire of Vanities" DLC next month!

The "Battle of Forli" has players defending the Forli base against the attacking Orsi brothers. Ezio enlists the aid of Machiavelli and Caterina Sforza in this task across the segment of six new playable memories.

If Ezio doesn't bone Caterina there are gonna be some false advertising lawsuits!

I dont remember if this was mentioned but do you have to do the dlc in sequence with the rest of the game? like if you've already finished the game do you have to start a new file to get back to sequence 12/13?
Not that im complaining, i love this game, platinum'd it, and still run around jsut to stab people, but just curious

Hopefully not. That sounds a little silly to me. My guess would be that you can choose Sequence 12/13 from the DNA list (even though you can't do that for the other main memories).

Awesome, I just got Platinum yesterday for it, and the price is perfect! (Well free is better but who am I to complain)

I don't remember doing much in Forli, despite it's cool Demon's Souls-reminding-me-of environment. I guess this DLC is what Forli is for ;)

Is it only me or every game nowadays has a DLC?

Was there anything to do in Forli the first time around? All I remember doing was collecting viewpoints...

Because of the price, I'm definitely getting this. If it were above $6 or $7, I would pass, so I believe that the price they chose was a very wise decision. More people will make the purchase.
