I'm going to watch North By Northwest (BD). The restoration is SO beautiful. Then I'll watch one of Connery's Bond films, though I haven't decided which one yet.

I imported Bourne Trilogy from amazon UK for $31.38 with shipping included, what a deal, while amazon.com had the set for U$60.

I was just checking amazon UK and they have Batman The Motion Picture Anthology 1989-1997 for 23.98 pounds, around U$40. I know this set don't have Batman Begins or the Dark Night, but this is the first four movies to complete your Batman collection for basically U$10 for each movie. Again, this same set on the US amazon is U$73.

I know, the Batman & Robin with Schwarzenegger as Mr. Freeze was ridiculous, but it's nostalgic and some people (like me) wanna own the collection.

If they were five dollars a pop, maybe. But for now, those VHS tapes will remain buried at the back of the shelves for me.

Though the first one isn't TOO bad. And the third is okay.

I don't understand everyone's liking and obsession with The Goonies. The movie is ridiculously boring and not really funny.

Flipper discs are the worst invention ever.

I had a Space Jam DVD, Wide screen on one side, 4:3 on the other... Man, that sucked.

A Scanner Darkly is probably the closest adaption you'll ever get from a Philip K Dick novel. You forgot to mention that it also stars Winona Ryder, and who doesn't love Wynona http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aYDfwUJzYQg&feature=channel

LOL Wino Forever! I agree that Scanner Darkly is the most faithful. But I still love Blade Runner the most.

Will be watching more Spice & Wolf, plus the second half of Bamboo Blade arrived a few days ago. I have to see more of Tamaki's mad kendo skillz. Maybe some more Darker Than Black, too.

(And for some reason, after watching The Goonies, I always crave Swensen's Ice Cream, and I haven't seen a Swensens place in about a decade...)

@kevin kelly:

Granted, Boogie Nights isn't porn porn. But it's about porn. And porn has women in it. And so you named off all the _guys_ in the movie?! Did you see Heather Graham?
