Chances are, you've played Uncharted 2 by now. Wait, you haven't? Why? Do you not trust us?!
If the lack of a single player demo has turned you off Naughty Dog's latest adventure, worry no more. A free Uncharted 2 demo is making its way to the PlayStation Store next Thursday, January 28th. In addition, premium DLC will supplement its release for fans that are still making their way through the online leaderboards.
As previously mentioned, the first DLC pack will add Sev and a Helghast soldier from Killzone 2, Nathan Hale and a Chimera from Resistance 2, and Cole (both good and evil variants) and Zeke from inFAMOUS. This first set of DLC will be available for $4.99 in the US.

"plus a bunch of exciting DLC, which we can assume will arrive outside of Japan at some point."
They didn't mention the US once and stated that they had no idea if it was coming out elsewhere (only that they could assume it was).

Actually, if you used your sense of deductive reasoning.. I was referring to the entire article, not just the title. While were on the subject, perhaps you should research the use of commas in terms of sentence structure and listing ideas, items, etc...

I really can't stand when people say "if you don't like it don't buy it." What does that phrase actually accomplish? How mentally defective would a person have to be to buy something they didn't think was worth the money in the first place? It's a nothing statement and somehow people think it sounds smart. It's like saying if you're allergic to peanuts then don't eat them. Great advice! How about I don't stab myself with a knife because it will kill me! I'm learning a lot today.
He gives his opinion that it isn't worth the money, or thinks it should be free. You can either disagree with that or agree with it. Advising him not to buy something he already mentioned he didn't want to pay for is the lamest statement I have ever seen, and it crops up way more often than I care to tolerate.

@acefondu ..freedom of speech, perhaps. Just like the original poster has the right to complain/disagree about the cost; he has the right to say, "don't buy it," simple as that. If you're gonna peg his response as a, "nothing statement," then you clearly need to peg MarkHawk's (whom, I assume you're referring to) as well. Lets face it, how many times have we heard/read people complain about the price of something they think they are entitled to for free?
The irony is (and yes, even this comment can be considered ironic) that I get tired of skimming through post of people complaining about complainers. " ...[they're] the lamest statement I have ever seen, and it crops up way more often than I care to tolerate." See what I did there...

I like the idea of adding new multiplayer skins. I think DLC like that is nice because it's an extra that doesn't interfere with gameplay or matchmaking. It's too bad it includes maps as well, because that will just split up the community. Still, it's nice to see DLC priced at $5 instead of $10.

I dont mind "Skins DLC", but i dont want every skin. I prefer that skins DLCs are released link in LBP. 1 for 0.99, bundle a little bit cheaper. I just want cole in his evil variant! :)

Well like I said before ... Burn Zombie Burn is the best downloadable game I've ever played. I've put over 100 hours into it already and that was for a $10 game. Thats some value right there. So many game modes, enemy types and just replayability in general. Don't see how anyone could say it's boring with the constant enemy and weapon spawns. You want something boring? Play Flower ... the most boring and worthless purchase I've probably ever made. Mushroom Men is equally boring and worthless imo. But, I guess everyone can't like the same stuff. Maybe you guys just suck at BZB? Whats your high score on The Woods? I just love the music, art style, ... everything about the damn game. One of my favorites this generation. Then again you didn't like Stardust HD either Carmel so maybe you just have bad taste ...
Please just tell me (I;m curious) what is boring about it and how much time did you put into? I understand it's really really really hard but the game is just so ... awesome. It's like Horde mode meets zombies ate my neighbors.

I'm sure after playing it maybe four times my high score comes nothing close to yours after putting 100+ hours into it, so it's a silly thing to compare. I don't "suck" at it though, it's not an overly difficult game or anything. It's just not fun or satisfying to play. I do like the music and art style, but the gameplay just isn't fun. Saying it's Zombies Ate My Neighbors in horde mode does make it sound awesome, but it's still not fun. It mostly consists of going around in circles and most of the weapons aren't satisfying to use. You keep on sayin BZB is hard but that's not what I thought of it and not what I disliked about it. I already explained this all in rely to your comment so I don't know why you're bothering repeating everything you've already said before about BZB.
And like I said I agree with you on flower, but that's not the point. Saying BZB isn't as boring as flower doesn't make it exciting or fun suddenly.
It's boring because it's not intense in any way shape or form. Zombies are slow and predictable, catch each other on fire and die easily. Yea, later you start getting a huge number of them, but all you need to do is punch through a few with a shotgun and let them catch each other on fire. It's not exciting, it's not fun, there's no satisfaction in surviving each wave.
I'm not bashing you for liking it, we simply have different tastes. I'm sure there are games I play that you might hate or consider boring, but I don't care. Don't take this so personally.
I might have like Stardust HD if I hadn't played Geometry Wars 1+2 first. Compared to Geo Wars, Stardust is ugly, has worse music, and is way too easy. And sure, having different taste than you makes my taste bad. Whatever you wanna think.

I guess I missed the reply in the thread that I suggested BZB yo you originally. I'll go back and read it for context. I compared it to Flower because thats a game that people lauded and praised for being this great "relaxing" and innovative experience ... I found it stupid and pointless. Like a shitty tech demo. The reason I say BZB is hard is the reason I still say Stardust HD is hard ... not everyone can get a high score after a few hours of play. Is it hard to control the game and understand the combat? No, but it's very difficult to get really good at the game and the tactics completely change at the later levels. Sure, at first you can use a shotgun or a baseball bat to get through crowds but later in the game the zombies have shields that are impervious to those techniques (they'll charge you diagonally, toxic ones spawn that are unaffected and there are large ones that are only affected by bombs) ... for me there is nothing better than using the chainsaw and the lawnmower. The key strategy is to gather bombs (kill zombies not on fire) and max level them up (kill zombies on fire) ... when the zombies are on fire they won't die but they'll add a bonus multiplier for each one you kill and if you don't kill them in time the fire will go out. So, once you get 10 bombs all maxed out (looks like a small glass jar) you can set the bomb anywhere and remote detonate it instead of it being automatic ... it has a huge blas radius. I'll usually set a lot of them on fire and set a bomb down then have them chase and "boom outta here" those bad ole zombies. After wave 100 the weapon spawns start over as well (they get progressively stronger along with the zombies up until that point) and you are fighting max zombies with shotguns and uzis which is a huge challenge just to stay alive.
I haven't even gotten close to all the trophies either. I have all the bronze, a bunch of silvers, handful of golds but none of the developer medals. I do think they made those to hard to get and I talked to them about that very thing. The reason I ask what your high score on the woods (arcade) is not to compare my score to yours but just to see how far you got. I'm telling you whether you think it or not the game us hard as hell ... it probably took me a month just to get the bronze trophy in the time segment of the secret lab (such an impossible level). The challenge levels are really fun if you haven't tried them and the mode where you have to protect Daisy adds something new to the core game.
In terms of Geometry Wars vs Stardust HD. Well, I had both GW on 360 and have the DS one and I have SSHD on PSP and PS3. I'll just say that I thought GW was more basic and that SSHD was a better representation of over head twin stick shooters. SSHD was also ALOT harder.
Are we PSN friends? We need to be ...
Whats funny is you said you love Geometry Wars, check this review of BZB from Giant Bomb:
Giant Bomb 80
"Burn Zombie Burn isn't for people looking for a casual action game; if you can't hang with the demands of something like Geometry Wars, this one will probably stress you out to no end. But if you enjoy getting a grip on fairly complicated mechanics and juggling them as fast as you can while you watch your scores race ever higher, there's a lot of depth in this one."

well my experience with SSHD was just with the demo, and I know it's hard to judge the difference between a demo and a full game but the demo to SSHD was just so easy I didn't really want to buy the full game. I'm sure it gets more challenging later.
As for PSN, go ahead and add me. My PSN is the same as my username here. I'm hardly ever on my PS3 though.

I agree with Enrique about those damn challenge missions in SSHD. That bomber one is damn near impossible. Even the 10x multiplayer is nearly impossible. I have probably 70% of the trophies in that game as well and I just can never get the last 3-4. I'll add you later on tonight ...

When did publishers start scoffing at the notion of putting out demos before the game to insure you'd want to buy it on launch?
Produce a demo...and *gasp* you might get my money! What a novel concept!

Honestly, Uncharted 2 gave me this intense Goldeneye vibe while playing it. Even though they're different games, there's just that spirit in them, and all the character skins and funny ones just drove that home more.
You know they'd have made stuff like this for GE if they could've back then.
