Yeah, there were rumors of a PSN version, anyone know if it is coming? It'd be a day one purchase for me.

Hint, Hint.

I believe they alluded to Defcon being ported to PSN back last year. Perhaps keep an eye out for that?

So I'm being down voted for wishing a game which looks fun was available on my system and mentioning that there are others like me?

or did an obvious joke go over that many heads

It kind of worries me people actually took that seriously.

Next thing you know, people might think Chad Warden wasn't a parody.

Oh wait.

If there is a minimum sales figure they have to meet then they should realize that the optimum XBLA/PSN price is $10, not $15.

I don't know what suppy & demand curve they're working from...but it probably needs to be fixed

MS has final say in the pricing of XBLA games, developers can only advise what they think it should be.

at first i thought $15 was steep too, but then i realized it's 2 games (both darwinia and multiwinia) instead of just 1. at that price it's fair, but i don't think they've done a good enough job of advertising it as a 2 game package, and so that price point might backfire on them.

Optimum sales prices IS $15 though. The two highest selling games are Castle Crashers and Battlefield 1943 after all, both $15 titles.

This game has a boatload of content anyways, and a great deal for the price considering Darwinia and Multiwinia sell for $15 apiece. They are also fantastic games, that never hurts.

I don't give two shits about an RTS game, but if it's $15? Why not, it'll kill a couple hours.

And on on the subject of that price point, how is $10 a better price than $15? Reminds me of the Braid debacle a ways back. Sure, it costs less, but $5 isn't that much. What, a sandwich? A few sodas? A gallon of gas? Not that much of a difference. Also why I don't buy used games just to save $5. Not that much of an incentive

I picked this game up a while ago in the 'Indie Pack' Steam had on sale for a short spell.

I loaded it up while checking each offering out individually, and something non-cerebral at the back of my head screamed out "Bah! Shitty RTS thing" and then compelled me to put it off.

Joystiq's unwavering coverage of the title's porting to live arcade has made me think I need to go back and beg for it's forgiveness. My mystical gamer's intuition has failed me I fear...

Yeah, insulting is just gonna make me go out there and buy it faster.

And seeing as how it's my $5, thanks for entertaining me with the thought that your opinion of how and when I spend my money somehow matters.

I think 1200 ponts is overpriced. Period, considering the game was originally free until Steam bought the rights to distibute it.

It's time for another Good Idea, Bad Idea!

Good Idea: Releasing Darwinia+ on Xbox Live Arcade.
Bad Idea: Releasing Darwinia+ on Xbox Live Arcade for Xbox Live Arcade two years after it was announced. For 1200 MSP. When half the game is two years old and the other half is five.

You dropped the ball, Introversion. And some of us aren't going to pick it up.

It's supposed to be coming out on Nintendo DS if they can get a publisher, but I'd definitely love to see an XBLA version. That game needs to be played on a big screen with surround sound and the volume at full, such a visceral experience.

Still play it almost once a week if I get the chance.

You play as a virus protection program fighting computer viruses bent on killing the inhabitants of a virtual "theme park". At least the game describes it as a theme park, it's more like a virtual snow globe.

One of the best RTS games I ever played.
