No of course not silly. 1) This is clearly a Castelvania article and 2) That guy's thighs are like...1/4 the size.

You know I heard a lot of great things about this game and picked up the PSP Remake last year. It was GOOD, but in my opinion Castlevania IV was the far superior old school Castlevania game.

Rondo of blood has much more depth to it with more levels, alternate pathways through the game, alternate endings, and multiple characters to play as. If we do a strictly apples to apples comparison on the mechanics of the two, rondo of blood would win that two as the characters are much easier to control.

TBH, it sounds like you just havent spent enough time with it.

To each his own though.

It isn't a Windows port, so to say, as it's the ISO of Rondo and a TurboGrafx emulator wrapped within an EXE.

Wait, so does this game feature a Kia filled with blood, or is it a Celtic player filled with blood?

Awesome, Castlevania ReBirth really put me in the mood for more oldschool Castlevania, so finally being able to play what many say is the best of the classic Castlevanias should be awesome. How about a Virtual Console release of Bloodlines on the Genesis while we're at it?

1)F*** you for pirating one of the greatest games known to man

2)You fail at reading since this news means that a translated version would become available for everyone which is HUGE because up until now the only to get a translated version was to get the PSP remake.

Very cool. If I didn't already have Dracula X Chronicles on PSP, I'd totally buy this.

For those who don't know:
Rondo is of the classic, level-by-level style of Castlevania games, and certainly the best (if not one of the best) of that style. It isn't the Metroid-esque style like Symphony and later, however Symphony IS a direct sequel to Rondo.
Being a CD-based game for the TurboGrafx (PC Engine), it has a CD-quality soundtrack, voice samples, and anime-esque cutscenes.

What I'm curious of is if it'll be an unaltered release of the Japanese version (like most of the VC "imports"), or if it'll use the translation created for the direct port contained in DXC on PSP.

Calm yourself, Alu--I mean Arikado.

I own both the PC-Engine disc and the PSP port included with DXC. Along with every other Castlevania game available in NA/JP.

Besides there's less than a paragraph's worth of text in the whole game, so a translation isn't even needed.

We're getting Rondo of Blood, but still no Bloodlines? Damn you, Konami/Nintendo.

This after news of Classic Controlller Pro comin' out States-side? Oh, yes, I may just decide to do mah side-scrollin' on the Wii instead of PS3 (whenever I could afford either...). Solid D-pads are much > four-button D-pads, especially if you're trying to do diagonal inputs.
