Not to be confused with Assassin's Creed 2: Discovery, Assassin's Creed: Altair's Chronicles is now available on the WebOS platform. The previous Gameloft-developed iPhone port of the poorly received DS title was a bit easier to stomach due to a drastically reduced price, and the same applies here on WebOS -- you can download it from the App Catalog now for $6.99.
Altair's Chronicles takes place before the events of 2007's Assassin's Creed debut.
[Thanks, Jared]

iphone screen size - 3.5 inch 480 x 320 pixels
palm pre screen size - 3.1 inch 480 x 320 pixels
i played this game on both and agree that we need a small bluetooth gamepad that works for these phones. On screen controls are ok, but not as good.
The webOS games are direct ports of the iphone games.

Really Chris? Name 3 games on Android or Web OS that deserves to be talked about.
The reason iPhone gets so much game coverage is because developers are falling over themselves to get a piece of the App Store action. Games aren't exactly burning up the charts over on Android Market.

On webOS: Need for Speed: Underground, Sims 3, Assassin's Creed: Altair's Chronicles, NFL 2010, Asphalt 5, Glyder 2, Let's Golf, and many others
Someone more familiar with Android can chime in for their marketplace as well.

@Naeem
WebOS is getting alot of games now because they recently opened up 3d support to their SDK. As for Android, its not easy developing a game that will play on so many phones. Anyway touch screen sucks for games.

All of which are available and I'm sure identical on the iPhone. When things start to diversify a bit it might be worth it to give the Web OS platform a closer look, but until then it along with the dozen other "app stores" will just have to play second fiddle.
The iPod Touch and iPhone have a monstrous following and hundreds of developers working tirelessly to bring something new to the platform. The Palm Pre and Android just don't have a large enough user base to dedicate a section too. I mean millions of people are playing games on the iPod Touch and iPhone...can the same be said about the Pre or ANY Android phone?

Agreed on both points.
