It isn't like us to dedicate an entire post to a single screenshot, but when it comes to Dead Rising 2 we've already set a precedent. Earlier today, Capcom's Unity blog posted a handful of new images from the zombie-killing simulator, but the screen that really captured our attention was the one shown (gloriously) above.
Combining vastly different items to create our own completely insane arsenal against the zombie collective? Imagine the possibilities: Like some kind of cutting thing, attached to something that spins or something! Clearly our intense excitement has damaged the part of our brain that controls our creativity, but you get the point. Things are going to get killed, real good. More screens are available on the Capcom Unity blog.

Kinda reminds me of something you'd find in TF2.
That's a good thing.

A paddle shotgun? How would you pull the trigger?

Don't get too excited. It looks like you can only craft items you learn about from cards. How many different combinations there are and how you get the cards seems to be up in the air yet.

Wait, why a paddle shotgun?
All you're doing is increasing it's range a bit

A rocket launcher than fires chainsaws...
Or a chainsaw with rockets instead of blades....

I'm going to assume the dirt bike+chainsaws would be another combo.
Hell, just make a whole YouTube channel to promote this game about what things you can attach chainsaws to.

Dead Rising is by far my favorite xbox 360 exclusive. That's right not even halo 3, gears of war, mass effect or any other xbox 360 exclusive is as fun as dead rising.

Oh yes! Let's hope for lots of combinations! (love the chainsaw-rocket rocket launcher chainsaw idea)

Every day you get one more yard.
You take it on faith,
you take it to the heart.
The waiiiiting...
Wait, now you've got me thinking about Tom Petty DLC songs for Rock Band when what I should be thinking about is a moose-antler helmet with rocket-paddle-chainsaws duct-taped to each edge of each antler.
