"but the event won't have wi-fi for an uplink."

I'm sure Microsoft will have a 99.99 option to access their Wi-Fi.

That requires a Gold Membership, too, and Microsoft reserves the right to determinate the Wi-Fi service at any moment. By using this Wi-Fi service, you agree to these terms of albahblahblabhalbhalbhalbhablhablhablhab

Lookin forward to hearing more about Fable 3. Hopefully it's info on the actual game and not whatever gimmick Natal will bring to it.

Sir Molyneux would like you to know that you can do EVERYTHING in Fable 3.

I couldn't be less interested in Fable 3. The first was promised to be open-world genius, but was slop. We were all promised the second would be genius, but it too was slop. We've been promised the third will be genius -- see a trend here?

Molyneux should spend some time playing Mass Effect. Or KOTOR Or even Indigo Prophecy/Heavy Rain. Or Demon's Souls. Or pretty much any mediocre-to-awesome game with a tinge of RPG flavor so he could actually LEARN what makes emotion-heavy/intense RPGs work.

Good catch, reading fail.

And Armageddon, having lived on the border for some time let me tell you Canadian currency is fail. You have a leaf, we have a bird of prey with arrows. Keep it on you side of the border.
J/K.....well do keep your money on your side of the border. The next time I get a Canadian quarter mixed in with my change, someones going to pay.

And it's not going to be you. Ya know....since American retailers don't take Canadian currency.

Hey it's not always the cashiers fault!
Often enough I find Canadian change(particularly pennies) in new rolls. I'll take them out when I spot them but their is not excuse for it.

I need to see some Fable 3 and Reach Gameplay. Im also curious to see how natal will be used in Fable. Fable is one of my favorite rpgs and if done right could get me to buy natal.

So I will just have to wait and see.

I think im going to buy more games on the Xbox this year than i bought for all systems combined last year, and then just as many games on the PS3 and PC. This is going to be the fullest year for blockbuster games in recent memory.

If it wasn't for the current HDD, I might say yes. But where would you put that thing on a Slim unit? On top?

I think the bigger issue is the fact that MS is not a hardware manufacturer first, but a software manufacturer first. they will try to improve the product through software update rather than hardware updates, they feel this is where they excel, and judging by Xbox live Vs. PSN, i tend to agree.

still placing the hard drive on a new system would be pretty easy, it would just have to be tacked onto the side of the system, rather than the top. it would look a little funny, but they could design it in a way that would make it still look like it belonged there.

It's a dimension issue. A slim would imply a thinner unit, and the HDD is already the width of the 360. Plus, they'd need the Valhalla revision to be done.

Man, I hate that picture. Why would I want to play a game where I have seven kids and a bitch as a wife?

Actually, that pretty much sums up my disdain with this game.

Seriously...you are king of the world. Slayer of dragons. You saved the poor from massacre.

You get home and you are bitched out by the wife.

I may or may not get downvoted because I'm not sure how many PS3 fanboys will read 360 news but anyway ...

2010 is the year of the 360 without any doubt.

Not to give the PS3 any discredit, but the title exclusive Microsoft platformed titles just look kickass ... I have my fingers crossed for gears of war 3 announcement for E3 this year followed by a 2010 fall release

Considering it's only January and only Microsoft has really had a conference to announce things, I think it's a bit pre-mature to call the whole year.

And here's how you get down voted, just say:

The Xbox 360 is a bad video game console.

ummmm I'm sorry but I'd have to say that both MS and Sony have around the same amount of Exclusive titles....of course I don't see anything on the PS3 doing Halo: Reach numbers but I believe GT5 & God of War 3 will be the best selling games on PS3 this year....

and HERE is how U get downvoted.....

Gears 3 CAN Come to PS3, as Gears is OWNED by EPIC and NOT Microsoft.....

@ Chris

This is where you get downvoted buddy ... while the developer of Gears is Epic ... the game is published and funded by Microsoft game Studios ... do your homework first ;)

@ wcarnation

Based on the current lineup for 360 games vs PS3 games, the 360 currently has stronger offerings in terms of exclusives. Yes GT5 and God of War 3 are outstanding games, but only 2?

Sony might pull a good E3 and have some good exclusives for the end of this year but who knows

this is kind of huge. If they show off Natal + fable 3, its kind of a make or break first impression for people hoping to use natal with hardcore games. I really hope Lionhead implemented it well.

why don't they save all of this for E3? unless they have a TON of new stuff that hasn't been reported, all of these games are pretty much going to be their presentation at E3, so it seems weird to me to reveal it all beforehand.
