I don't think it'll have much issues in March. Gameplay-wise, the only alternative is C&C4, and I think that's a terribly good thing. RTS lost that magic element when all the competition was killed off.

System-wise, it's competition will be pretty much Final Fantasy 13 and to a lesser degree Bad Company 2. Yet I can see SC2 appealing to a group that doesn't cross over much with one or both of these games, and BC2 is quick enough that someone can game both that and this.

I think it'll do pretty fine, just needs a bit of advertisement.

I bought Supreme Commander at launch for full price and loved it, but I think I'll wait a bit on Supreme Commander 2. At least until there's a demo out that I can play. I'm not sure yet whether or not I will like the changes to the game.
