He uses his skills in making quality new entries in the series. I'd maybe agree with you if the series was in some sort of decline, but as it is, it has a steady sense of quality.

It's not so much making sequels to games, as it is having a purpose to - that is what defines the action, I believe.

Now if you'll excuse me, I'll step out before the flood of "LOL MOVIE" and "LOL NANOMACHINES" rolls in

This guy is like a muppet with all his count downs. Less teasing more good games?

I know, right? They should totally make a live event and never announce when it happens, that'll have people showing up in droves.

He can announce it, but he's having count down leading to new countdowns. It's annoying. I love the games he makes (the ones I've played), but the countdowns are just annoying.

That happened once ever, and that was for Metal Gear Rising, and each of those count downs led to a different announcement at a convention. Get over it already.

It's like if you took some sort of plot element that's always existed in the series and then showed up slightly more in one game and act like it's such a nagging issue through the whole series.

Oh wait.

"It's not even that popular anymore.."

You, sir, have no idea what you're talking about.

I'm going to assume you've never played a Metal Gear game, as you'd be able to very clearly see the purpose of the sequels and the intentions behind each game.

So he said he was going to stop at whatever game, and then he said he didn't want to. It seems words only have meaning if you carry them negatively?

He never said the series will end with 4. He only said Solid Snake's saga will end.

Also, are you on a cell phone or something? I'm on an iPhone and I make the occasional typo but Jesus Christ, dude....

Metal Gear Solid reminds me of a tired old whore whose long overstayed her welcome. One day we'll find MGS dead in a gutter, and no one will care.

My launch PSP finally bit the dust this week and Kojima does THIS to me. Of all the developers, he is the one who taunts me most.

So I guess it is against the law to have a series with any sort of longevity, now? No matter the quality of releases, you aren't allowed to exist past a certain arbitrary number of years.

Instead they should routinely abandon their series, so we can immediately complain about "how they don't make enough of those".

It's like you're just clawing to find things to complain about.

Actually yes, a series shouldn't overstay it's welcome, that's the whole point. It's not an arbitrary set of years or titles, you idiot, but a standard of quality. Metal Gear has had exactly three good games. Can you guess which ones they are?

It would be fun if this could be a PSP mini game as well, or maybe an extra part to the actual Peace Walker game.
