Has anyone snagged Hi-Octane? If so, how did it play? I had the game when it was a new release on the PS1. It was so early in the PS1 development cycle that it came in a big box not a jewel case; the lack of familiarity with the new machine showed. It performed really terribly--I think it may have had a framerate of 16 FPS. It pre-dates 3d graphic chips. I also had the PC version, which initially was horrible but when I went from a 486/25 to a Pentium/90, well, the processing power compensated for the lack of 3d graphics code and it became playable! And it was fun! It had good tracks and a fun set up. It's your basic futurist racing shooter. Without this game, ExtremeG and Wipeout might not have been made.

So, I'm a little curious if the version on the network is actually playable. I think the graphics might be ok, though a little crude, for a PSP title.
