When playing the God of War games, we've often wondered, "If Kratos' unflagging rage could be assigned a flavor, what flavor would it be?" Finally, that question will be answered by Mountain Dew and 7-Eleven, which are collaborating on the next advancement in frozen sugar-drink technology: The Kratos Fury Slurpee. We know that sounds like the kind of thing we'd make up for comedic effect, but we assure you, it's berry real.
You can pick up a tall, refreshing cup of Fury (which includes nonconsumable codes for DLC armor and other content) starting February 1, at which point you'll learn that Kratos' anger actually tastes like a pleasant mix of blackberries and lime -- and the blood of a freshly-slain Gorgon. But, yeah, mostly just blackberries and lime.

I'm going on the basis of slurpees here. I live in Winnipeg, which is the slurpee capital of the world, and I drink 4L of that shit daily, any Blackberries and Lime does not sound like a good combination.
(Yes, I am a fatass, thanks for noticing.)

I would choose just about any of those other pictures as a better cover for God of War III.

I was mostly referring to the three in the middle. Obviously the one on the far left is FAR too awesome. :P
Perhaps a slurpee cup on the cover of a game isn't too far into the future? I see crazy product placement like that becoming a standard fairly soon.

Something fizzy and stawberry, something tangy! Something to emphasize my RAGE! Something that can be enjoyed while smashing my PS3 Controller with sheer anger.
I really hope PMC is out on time, how I want to destroy the gods for causing me the suffering of constant button smashing with relative ease!

Is there anyone out there that really collects these Slurpee cups? Seriously?

It's really only for promotion/advisement. I'm sure there will be plenty of people to drink the slurpies even without buying the cup, and vice versa.
That said, I definitely try to collect these cups when I can.

I have been watching you for quite some time and am excited to offer you this newly crafted Power...
I dub thee:

Remember, the Power is YOURS!

Not on purpose or consciously, but yes... I've got so many Halo, Spiderman, and Transformer cups (w/ Optimus Prime heads) in my cupboard. They're actually a good size for me because I tend to spill and/or break stuff (because I have little-to-no self-control.)
*And I hate "Coke" slurpees. That stuff tastes like chemically engineered dirt.

While the simplistic cover for the PS3 game is nice, anyone of these images on the slurpee cups would of looked way better as the cover for the game.

Clarification:
The codes are non-consumable.
Does that mean that you're not supposed to eat it, or that it's a code that can be used infinitely many times?

It's published by Sony, no. Even if that was a joke it wasn't funny.
