I have nothing mean spirited to add to the flame wars. This is great news for PS3 and PC gamers, and hopefully after what RockStar felt were disappointing sales, the increased install base will encourage more DLC for all 3 systems!

What about the trophies? Are there trophies for both episodes and will they have 2 seperate Platinum Trophies like the God Of War Collection does?

that's a good question. i'm assuming that the trophies will just be tacked on with the rest of GTAIV's original trophies, just as the Fallout and Borderlands DLC's trophies worked.
hm... now i really want to platinum this game before the DLC comes out.

This is great news... and yet another 360 console exclusive that can be scratched of the list. Even sweeter is the fact that these expansion packs were both in the top 10 best rated releases for the 360 last year.

Too late. Most people on ps3 have traded in GTA along time ago. I still have mine but every time i got to gamestop i see like 50 used copies of the game. PLus whos going to buy it this late and with GOW3 the same month? Epic Fail!!! It didnt sell on 360 and it'll sell even worse on ps3 after people thought it was never coming to ps3 so why keep the game disc/

I was thinking to buy the game one of these days since I haven't got the chance to play it on my PS3.
And, now releasing the DLCs makes it a very nice opportunity, since I can now grab the game and the episodes almost at the same price as the launch price.

In your face Microsoft! Was it really worth the 50 mill for only a year of time-exclusivity?! This should teach you to not waste money and go morally bankrupt all for just a couple of time-exclusive add-ons for a MULTI-PLATFORM game! Yeah! That's right! I just called you out! The only thing you did with your messed-up business practices was piss off PS3 owners that had the potential to be future customers of your's! And don't think I have forgotten about you, Rock Star, you're just as guilty, but you know what? Microsoft has no "morals" to go bankrupt on. They never had any. How many anti-trust suits they've lost? How many deliberately placed security loop holes in Windows? Red Ring of Death? I still remember having my internet down because Microsoft updated XP, in order to force people to switch to Vista.
That's not saying Sony is much better, but they're a bit more focused in on the hardware world, while Microsoft is trying to get into every market they can.
I wonder if they paid enough money to justify limiting the market so severely. While the PS3 wasn't a huge number, comparatively, cutting out both the PS3 and PC (the 800lb gorilla) was bound to harm sales far more than if they'd have released the DLC cross platform.
Oh well. I might pick it up. Might not. I lost interest in GTA4 long ago. I kept it though, just in case I decided to go back (and for the fact that Gamestop doesn't give enough credit to even bother trading it in).

It seems that the only way xbox can get people to buy their pos is to offer exclusive content its about time ps3 gets the dlc considering ps was the system that gta first appeared on , so yipee ya ya its about time i was pissed when found out i couldnt get those episodes because i have fallowed the gta franchise from the beginning
