I think i'm going to watch Surrogates and give it a fair chance. But other than that I just watched "Milk" and the ending actually made me tear up alittle bit. Great movie and Sean Penn is amazing in it.

Milk was great, I'd suggest watching Frost/Nixon as well.

CUBE!!!!

Those are some pretty great B-grade movies! If I were autistic I'd be out of those cubes so fast...

Have to say i watched all of the cube films even cube zero or whatever, as well as the killing room and House of 9. All fairly good B movies.

Snatch is better anyday of the week! XD I actually watched Lock, Stock a couple of weeks ago because it was made by the same director as Snatch but I was kinda dissapointed.

Lock Stock destroys Snatch, I personally think.

Still both films aren't THAT great anymore. I liked them when I was like 12. Ritchie's really shit, he's a wannabe cockney Tarantino. And I don't think I can forgive him for ruining Sherlock Holmes now as well.

It's Friday night, so like usual I just finished up this week's Dollhouse. Series finale. :( I really liked it, but it was so sad. Gonna go discuss it with my fellow obsessive Whedon nerds now.

I personally thought Cube was a bit gash. Mind you, I was young and stupid back then. Well only half that has changed if I'm honest...

Unfortunately Jake, I'm with you on all accounts. Though, I think I will give Cube another chance.

Maybe it's because I'm from the U.S., but Lock Stock is the only English movie I have to watch with subtitles. I just can't understand what they're saying. Even then, the first time I watched it, I had to replay segments just to make sure that's what they were saying. Great movie though.

I had that problem with Snatch (Brad Pitt's character, which was still awesome). Sadly there was no subtitles option in the dvd I had then, but other then the Brad Pitt part, I was able to understand the rest of the flick.

I'm from England, and even I find it tough sometimes... So many regional dialects.

@Dao Jones

You aren't supposed to be able to understand Brad Pitt... thats the joke!!!! He's the product of so much inter-regional breeding that you can't understand a damn word he says.

My Little Eye is also an interesting movie along the lines of Cube and Saw (to a small extent). It never really reached the masses, but it was good.

Cube, cube 2 and hyper cube were all awesome!
Maybe I liked them more because of my weird fascination with math, but as far as b movies go they are one of the best.

I wish someone would remake cube. Exactly identical to the original, but replacing the cop with someone who doesn't grossly overact. That guy was absolutely terrible.

Wow Cube. I remember working on that movie set. Film company I was working for (school actually) made it. It was pretty good for a low budget film. Part of the set is actually still in my room, used as a chair mat. lol

No, he's right, it's awful. Great concept, poor execution (no pun in intended). The acting was not good and everyone just complains the whole film.

Lock Stock is one of my favorite movies of all time. And Cube is awesome. If you can get past the acting. I saw that movie for the first time when I was a huge stoner though. Definitely going to check out his other movies, dunno why I haven't yet.

You guys shoukd put up Pi for a pick of the week. The guy who did Requiem for a Dream before Requiem for a Dream and The Fountain. Awesome movie, Pi.

Different strokes for different folks. I can get over bad acting sometimes. The first Saw movie was great despite the bad acting.

I remember City of Lost Children being fantastic, if you can just kind of give up trying to figure out what's going on and enjoy the ride.

I also have a sudden urge to watch Cube again, which I haven't watched since it was first released.

Whether Cube sucked or not is completely subjective. However, when one comes on and acts like Jay Sherman, simply stating, "It Sucks", well, that's not exactly a brilliant deduction.

I didn't like Hypercube that much, but for being B-movies, they kick arse.

With Mass Effect 2 out, I haven't really been watching anything except for the new Psych, Burn notice, and Supernatural. I still have to watch House, Bones, Fringe, Dollhouse and some others.
